Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a 2023 animated superhero film produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, it is the sequel to the Academy Award-winning Into the Spider-Verse (2018).
Shameik Moore returns as Miles Morales, who is pulled across the multiverse and introduced to the Spider-Society — an interdimensional task force of Spider-People led by the severe Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac). When Miles learns the Society operates on a rigid doctrine about which tragedies must be allowed to happen, he finds himself at odds with hundreds of versions of himself. Hailee Steinfeld returns as Gwen Stacy, with Jason Schwartzman voicing the villainous Spot.
Released on June 2, 2023, the film grossed over $690 million worldwide and drew rapturous reviews, with critics calling its animation among the most ambitious ever committed to a mainstream feature. It received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature and ends on a cliffhanger leading into Beyond the Spider-Verse.

At first all they see around them is the dull grey of the wilderness but soon moving objects become visible and when they close in are revealed as a pack of extremely hungry wolves. iam Neeson, best known for roles in The A-Team and Clash of the Titans, is Ottway. When Sylvester Stallone dreams up an action movie script he knows exactly who he wants for each part. Although Stallone did not write or direct The Expendables 2 he stated he had the story "plotted out in my mind's eye" and the assembled dream team of action players will no doubt be exciting to watch. With Simon West (Con Air, The Mechanic) directing and a big ensemble cast this sequel will definitely be one worth seeing. Returning are Bruce Willis (Die Hard series, Pulp Fiction) as Mr. Church in an expanded role, Arnold Schwarzenegger as Trent Mauser, whose part is also expanded from the original film, and of course Sylvester Stallone is back as Barney Ross. When mercenary Jean-Claude Van Damme (Universal Soldier, Double Impact) brutally murders one of their own the Expendables enter hostile territory to avenge his death. New members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) & Yu Nan as Maggie are among the stellar cast. Others include Jason Stratham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, and Chuck Norris making The Expendables 2 a must see for action movie lovers!
Computer animated comedies are usually visually stunning and often funny as well. These Madagascar movies, with this one being the third in the popular series, are especially entertaining and amusing. Familiar voices and some that you think you might recall fill this film with plenty of amusing dialog while you watch the antics of a Lion, Zebra, Hippo, and Giraffe that are attempting to return to New York after they escape from confinement in Africa. The group get sidetracked and soon wind up in Monte Carlo. But the Siberian tiger helps guide them back state side. Voices you may recognize include Ben Stiller as the Lion Alex, Chris Rock as the Zebra Marty, David Schwimmer does Melman a Giraffe, and as Gloria the Hippo you will hear the voice of Jada Pinkett Smith. Also Cedric the Entertainer does the voice for Maurice and Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) is King Julien XIII. Listen for a voice from the past to play a Norway Lemming named Freddie. Martin Milner starred in Adam-12 and Route 66 back in the 1960's. This may be the most fun and adventurous Madagascar movie yet so don't miss it!
Actually the forth in this beloved series of movies about Ice Age characters who are adrift in a confusing world, they are now separated from their familiar life and find that a cataclysmic event (volcano erupts in Iceland) caused a whole continent to become detached and adrift. The seafaring trio of Manny (voice of Ray Romano), Ellie (Queen Latifah), and Sid (John Leguizamo) also along for the ride are Diego (voiced by Denis Leary) and Chris Wedge voicing for Scrat. They find themselves separated, adrift, and now forced on a seafaring quest that makes them heroes as they are challenged as never before when discovering new worlds while battling some pretty ruthless pirates (are there any other kind?). Scrat the squirrel (Chris Wedge) finds reuniting with his nut takes him to some pretty prehistoric places not fit for a squirrel. As they explore the new world they find we, the viewing audience, follow along for a fun filled experience. It's good to have these loveable guys back once again!
The latest in the popular series of Men in Black films is coming to a theater near you and even Barry Sonnenfeld (director) and Steven Spielberg will return as exec producer of this action packed movie which will also be in 3-D this time around. Josh Brolin also returns as the Young Kevin Brown or Agent K and Rip Torn will once again portray Chief Zed MIB head. he MIB team always give us an amusing action packed thrill ride of a movie and this time around, with the addition of 3-D action we can expect even more! Agent J (Will Smith) takes a time jump reversal to the 1960 era to find that an alien is after the young version of Agent K (Josh Brolin) and even threatening the very existence of humankind. When Agent O (played by Emma Thompson) says Agent K died over forty years ago it gets confusing but the time jump makes many things more interesting in this plot twisting mankind saving film. Watch for the voice differences between Jones and Brolin and you decide who's who.
When single dad Benjamin Mee decides to purchase a zoo and then move his whole family there to live he thinks he's fulfilling a lifelong dream. The scene is Dartmoor's Zoological Park, complete with some 200 animals that are not only exotic but about to be destroyed because of the expense involved in caring for them. The dilapidated park lies in the English countryside and this seems the ideal place for the Mee family to join forces and make a difference in the world around them. Directed by Cameron Crowe (Jerry MaGuire, Almost Famous) and starring Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting, Saving Private Ryan) as the father Benjamin Mee, Colin Ford (Supernatural, Smallville) is son Dylan Mee, Maggie Elizabeth Jones plays young Rosie Mee, and Thomas Haden Church (Sideways, Spider-Man 3) is the elder Mee, Duncan.e Bought a Zoo looks to be an outstanding family film! Those adorable though sometimes ornery Chipmunks, Alvin, Theodore, and Simon return to the big screen just in time for a Christmas romp that takes them to a tropical island. The paradise they encounter is accidental when they wind up going overboard while on a cruise ship. Seems the ever busy chipmunks were playing around while on board and before they knew what happened, they found themselves deserted on an island. But the island turns out to be anything but deserted! Directed by Mike Mitchell (Shrek Forever After, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo) and the writers Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger put together an uproariously funny animated flick here that also stars the voices of Justin Long gives the voice of Alvin in this and several other Chipmunk movies plus Going The Distance as an actor), Jesse McCartney in a repeat role as the voice of Theodore (also as an actor in TV series Greek and Young Justice). Simon comes to life with the voice of Matthew Gray Gubler (he again gave voice to other Chipmunk movies plus TV series Criminal Minds as an actor). As always, these are fun filled romps that always entertain kids of all ages!
With the old inn about to close its door for the final time Luke and Claire are determined to prove the place is haunted. So they go ghost hunting but some disturbing events scare them to the bones. The terrifying results of their investigation come to life in the form of past guests returning for a final stay. Written and directed by Ti West, highly respected for his work on The House of the Devil and Trigger Man, also acting in several of his movies. The story is "edge of your seat" scary and will keep audiences caught up all the way through.ara Paxton (Superhero Movie, The Last House on the Left) plays desk clerk Claire, Luke, another desk clerk at the inn is played by Pat Healy from Harmony and Me, Spooner. Kelly McGillis from Top Gun and At First Sight plays Leanne Rease-Jones and the old man is played by George Riddle (Flannel Pajamas, The Superagent). Whales have been getting poor treatment for centuries now and with many species down to but a few, they may soon be gone for good. Enter the government worker and a non profit aid worker that are determined to help however they can. Then add romance and a bit of comedy and you have a great movie! They find three huge California gray whales that have traveled up to the Arctic Circle and become trapped when ice closed in on them, leaving them in a hole with no escape. ilmed over a ten week period in Anchorage, Alaska the story is based on a book by Tom Rose titled Freeing the Whales: How the Media Created the World's Greatest Non-Event. tars Drew Barrymore (Boys on the Side, The Wedding Singer) as Rachel Kramer and John Krasinski (It's Complicated, Leatherheads) is Adam Carlson are the determined pair who try to save the whales. Others in this entertaining and fun film include Ted Danson, Stephen Root, Kathy Baker, and Kristen Bell.
When Wilee, a bicycle messenger delivery guy takes on his latest job and picks up an envelope that is of special interest to a certain dirty cop, he finds himself being pursued around Manhattan. What can there be in that envelope that has the cop so intensely chasing the cyclist? And reality came in the form of a bike accident when the star of Premium Rush crashed into the back of a New York taxi while filming.
