Written by John Landis and his son, Max, Chronicle takes the audience on a rollercoaster ride of adventure as we watch three teenaged boys who learn they are developing superpowers after exposure to some mysterious substances while walking through the woods nearby their homes. Typical of many teenagers these boys find they have a rather dark side to their personalities when their strange and powerful new capabilities become increasingly strong. They each must decide how best to handle their powers and while impressive, they can also be dangerous to themselves and others. ohn Landis is well known as director of such fun and entertaining movies as Animal House and American Werewolf in London and now teams up with his son, Max to come up with this delightful film. Shot in a pretend documentary style, and using hand held cameras (think Blair Witch Project), Chronicle is entertaining and enlightening.tars Michael B. Jordan (Parenthood, Lie To Me), Dane DeHaan (In Treatment, True Blood), and Alex Russell (Wasted on the Young, Almost Kings) are the three young men who find their lives changed forever by the mysterious substance they encounter in the woods.

Iron Man is bound to multiple returns, while Robert Downey Jr. plays a major role, and Jon Favreau is the director. And as long as until the protagonist is not exhausted stocks of radioactive charisma, and the chief director allows the actresses enthusiastically clobber themselves in the frame, we will be back for another serving. It is not excluded that many may seem, the "Iron Man 2" had not went long away from the first part. That is very nice and noisily shuffled his feet in one place. So let it be. After all, the movie can afford it, and there is no need in more compelling reasons besides the classic selfishness of the Stark.

After "The Dark Knight" Christopher Nolan had no right to fail the next film. And after the "Inception" movie this right also will not appear. If James Cameron, the creator of Avatar, has sent mankind in the new world, Nolan gave no less than fantastic immersion into the world inside your own head, which is capable to show you new movie in 3D every night . "Inception" do not hesitate platitudes based on genre foundation, grinding the context in which appear. There are "The Matrix", "James Bond", "The Game" and "Shutter Island" mixed together, allowing to speculate about the essence of cinema and its perception. Cold rationality of thinking about ways to bring the audience to ecstasy is another Nolan's oxymoron. Experience that he perceives and reproduces as the construction and the movie looks like the universe. No wonder that its main character is an architect.

Since the DVD and Blu-Ray versions of TRON: Legacy have been big time sellers recently it seems like the future is secure for another sequel. TRON 3, 3-D version that continues on with the story line that began back in 1982, keeps the futuristic concept going while including more of the beautiful Olivia Wilde as the character known as Quorra. That persona was way underused according to many critics in the TRON: Legacy film and needed to be emphasized more. Wilde has become known for her "vamp" style roles, making her Quorra so low key she seemed to sleep through much of the movie and that needs to be livened up a bit.eff Bridges character met his demise in the Legacy film but who knows when he may reappear reincarnated or retrofitted. With emphasis placed on the characters in the story, the movie seemed to work best and that means Bridges needs to be there in some form or another. 3-D will add some visual appeal to the movie but even the original 1982 release had plenty to offer those interested in the visual "lightshow" effect presented in good sci-fi filming.

If Insidious is anything like their previous effort (the SAW series) it will be a tremendous hit at the box office. The writer/director team of James Wan and Leigh Whannell definitely know how to scare the "bejesus" out of us. A happy couple Josh and Renai, played by Patrick Wilson (Watchmen) and Rose Byrne (Get Him to the Greek) think their lives are just about perfect. Three kids and a nice home make for a serene lifestyle until some unruly dark spirited ghosts begin tormenting them. Dalton, their son, is knocked out and ends up in a coma. Is his weak state drawing the scary entities or is it the house? After moving they find that the house may not have been the culprit of their fears."Excellent timing and the addition of some wry humor make this movie a cut above the normal "horror" flick and the actors are really good. For a small (one million dollar) budget, this movie stands a cut above the rest and will thoroughly entertain."

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie was released in 2010, the year of "Ironman 2," "Harry Potter 7", and "Tron: Legacy". So, the producers and director of "Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader" clearly felt the pressure to deliver a visual masterpiece. Capitalizing on the special alchemy of 3D, they succeeded. "A painting engulfs Lucy and Edmund Pevensie and their cousin Eustace, taking them back to Narnia and stowing them away on sailing ship The Dawn Treader. The brave and somewhat precocious warriors battle a fierce collection of monsters and villains, resisting their own powerful temptations, as they join forces with Reepicheep, a warrior mouse, to save Narnia. The computer animators do so well with the Lion, the Mouse, and the fairy princess, viewers willingly suspend disbelief. Of course, a mouse can out-maneuver a chimera."The producers and director paid proper respect to C.S. Lewis, early twentieth century author and scholar, who penned the novel The Voyage of the Dawn Treader as one among his Chronicles of Narnia. Lewis, a leading authority on medieval quest romance, crafted his story according to the traditions and conventions of the hero's quest, and the movie wisely recreates his craftsmanship. The film-makers achieve an unlikely hybrid of medieval story and twenty-first century imagery. They left open the question, however: Would audiences overdosed on 3D graphics and epic adventures fill the seats for another one?
