"Invasion of Astro-Monster" is a Japanese science fiction movie that was released in 1965. The film is part of the Godzilla franchise and follows the story of two astronauts who travel to a distant planet called Planet X, where they discover that the planet is being attacked by a monster called King Ghidorah. The aliens of Planet X offer to lend Earth Godzilla and Rodan to help defeat King Ghidorah, but their motives may not be entirely pure.

At this time, inhabitants of the planet Earth, have struggling for their lives, surviving the corruption, banditry and poverty without a ray of hope for a better life. But there is the man on the Earth who has his own mission to save his life. The only thing he needs is to get into Elysium and restore the justice. The destiny of both of the world now depends of his fight with Elysium's mayor Secretary Jessica Delacourt. His name is Max Da Costa. Elysium's director Neill Blomkamp managed to gather a brilliant ensemble cast to turn an ordinary sci-fi movie to an extraordinary one: Matt Damon (True Grit, Invictus, The Informant!) stars as Max Da Costa, while Jodie Foster (Carnage, The Brave One, Panic Room) acts as main antagonist Jessica Delacourt.

Do not misread the connotations in the title X-Men: First Class. "First class" is a phrase which here does not mean "the best, the finest, the most luxurious," nor does it signify "the part of the plane with complimentary cocktails and room to stretch out." Take the phrase literally. In strangely oxymoronic style, the studio's promotional materials claim X-Men: First Class "charts the epic beginning (sic) of the X-Men saga," the first group of students to graduate from Professor X's school for reluctant super-heroes. "Who knew an "epic beginning" was possible? In their salad days, Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr, ultimately sworn mortal enemies, were the best of buds, experimenting with and testing their newly discovered powers, preparing to join other Mutants to prevent Armageddon. X-Men: First Class documents their nasty break-up. They could not be "just friends.""Although the men allegedly star in X-Men: First Class, the so-called "supporting actresses" threaten to steal the show. January Jones of "Madmen" fame plays Emma Frost, villainesse supreme, co-conspirator with Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, criminal mastermind. More notably, Jennifer Lawrence—yes that Jennifer Lawrence, low-keyed "It Girl" from Winter's Bone and the Oscars' red carpet—plays Mystique, aka Raven Darkholme, shape-shifting mutant. By film's end, girl power may trump super-powers.

Written by John Landis and his son, Max, Chronicle takes the audience on a rollercoaster ride of adventure as we watch three teenaged boys who learn they are developing superpowers after exposure to some mysterious substances while walking through the woods nearby their homes. Typical of many teenagers these boys find they have a rather dark side to their personalities when their strange and powerful new capabilities become increasingly strong. They each must decide how best to handle their powers and while impressive, they can also be dangerous to themselves and others. ohn Landis is well known as director of such fun and entertaining movies as Animal House and American Werewolf in London and now teams up with his son, Max to come up with this delightful film. Shot in a pretend documentary style, and using hand held cameras (think Blair Witch Project), Chronicle is entertaining and enlightening.tars Michael B. Jordan (Parenthood, Lie To Me), Dane DeHaan (In Treatment, True Blood), and Alex Russell (Wasted on the Young, Almost Kings) are the three young men who find their lives changed forever by the mysterious substance they encounter in the woods.

This time around we appreciate the horror of Resident Evil in 3D and for the fifth time are scared nearly out of our wits by some great writing and superb acting that is not all that common in the horror genre of films. Maybe that is why we now are treated by a fifth installment of this popular and exciting film. Directed by as well as written by Paul Anderson, this is Anderson's third time up to bat and his experience is deep into the shaping of each character into what he wants of them. We find many returning actors playing their characters once again along with some new ones that transferred over from the video game versions.nce again Alice (Milla Jovovich from all five Resident Evil movies plus The Fourth Kind) is captured by the evil Umbrella. We find out more about her complicated past as she continues her quest for the ones who are at fault for the outbreak. Also returning as Jill Valentine is Sienna Guillory (Silence Becomes You), and Oded Fehr (TV's Covert Affairs) as Carlos Olivera who now returns as two different and opposing characters. Who says sequels never equal the original have yet to see Resident Evil: Retribution.

A tremendously successful book Cloud Atlas, which was written by British author David Mitchell in 2004, is laid in the basement of next brothers Wachowsky's movie Cloud Atlas. Of course, no one has expected that Matrix's creators will film something small, but it seems like Cloud Atlas outperformed any possible expectation. The film is so advanced in the meaning of CGI graphics and complicity of the twisted plot that it's undoubtedly destined to become another milestone in cinema industry alongside with The Matrix and Avatar. The movie consists of six stories nailed on each other in some weird way. All of the showcased stories are suddenly interrupting at some point except the last one. The first story begins in 1850 on a frigate sailing across the Pacific Ocean; this story is read by the character of the next story as a diary in 1931 which story is read in letters by Luisa Rey a journalist California, 1975 who writes a manuscript for the novel which is read by Timothy Cavendish, in 21th century UK which story was laid in the center of documentary movie which is watched by Sonmi~451, a genetically-engineered clone in not so distant future who rises a rebellion against totalitarian regime which is lead to "The Fall", an apocalypses which destroys a civilization and forms a tribal societies on Earth. One of the tribesman watches a Sonmi~451's story as holographic movie on his "Orison" device. All the six stories which are nested in the film look like seamlessly connected with each other in the way we did not realize until the movie reaches its turning point, and then we travel back in time from story to story completing them in reverse order and realizing that "Everything is connected".
