The story of Alan Taylor's Thor: The Dark World is a direct sequel of the first movie and it takes place just year after the events of The Avengers. Now Thor stands against the ancient evil embodied in Malekith and his henchmen. This concentrated evil existed even before the history of our Galaxy has began. And there are no forces neither in Asgard nor on Earth to withstand them. Once again the destiny of the whole world is in Thor's hands. Once again he has to come back to Earth and fight with Malekith. When he meets his passion, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), his quest becomes more complicated – to rescue his love interest and save both Earth and Asgard. As for ensemble cast it's quite clear that previous movies successes inspired producers to inflate the budget significantly, besides the actors which were starring in the first movie Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Ray Stevenson, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins there some new Hollywood stars: Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who, Heroes, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (The Thing, Killer Elite, Faster), Zachary Levi (Stuntmen, Shades of Ray), and Tadanobu Asano (Battleship, 47 Ronin).

Dragonball Evolution is a 2009 American action-adventure film based on the Dragon Ball franchise. The film's story centers on the adventures of Goku, a young martial artist who discovers his destiny as a "Saiyan" and sets out to find the seven mystical orbs known as the Dragon Balls. Along the way, he must battle various villains who also seek the Dragon Balls for their own evil purposes.

Jupiter Ascending is a 2015 science fiction film directed by Lana and Andy Wachowski. The film was plagued by production problems which delayed its release for nearly a year. The film stars Mila Kunis as Jupiter Jones, a woman working a dead-end job cleaning other peoples' houses. As it turns out, though, there is more to Jupiter's life than she could possibly imagine; when Caine Wise (Channing Tatum), an ex-military hunter arrives on earth to track her down, Jupiter discovers that she is genetically marked as the next in line for an astounding inheritance. Her actions from this point forward could change not only her own destiny, but the entire balance of power in the galaxy. The movie received mixed to negative reviews from critics, who praised the beautiful visuals featured in the film, but who derided clunky narrative storytelling. Fans of Terry Gilliam will be amused to know that the director of Brazil makes an appearance in a scene made to resemble his classic film.

First Contact is one the most successful movies about the adventures of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. It is interesting for almost everything: the film catches you since the beginning of titles and don't let you go. "The movie tells a story of androids returning to the past: Borgs, who decided to rewrite the history of the human race. They are trying to kill a man who managed to exceed light speed limit on his self-built shuttle, resulting in the first contacts with alien civilizations. Unattended by the aliens, Earth would be a good platform for the enslavement of humankind and the endless circle of new robots creation.

Life on the forth planet from the sun, known as Mars, is adventurous to say the least. John Carter is an epic hero from novels written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, one of the most beloved and prolific writers of the 20th Century. This movie version has John Carter being transported to what is called Barsoom or Mars and entering conflicts between the planet's nations. There he encounters leaders Tars Tarkas as well as Princess Dejah Thoris as he attempts to save the people of Barsoom. Based on the novel titled A Princess of Mars, John Carter was first published as a serial in magazines back in 1912 before becoming a novel. The lead character, Carter, is a veteran of the Civil War in America and while on Mars he encounters huge green barbarians who are twelve feet tall with six limbs and long dangerous tusks. It is a world that is difficult to survive in and Carter must fight his way back home again if he can.aylor Kitsch of the TV series Friday Night Lights stars as John Carter, Willem Dafoe (Daybreakers, Spider-Man 3) is Tars Tarkas, and Princess Dejah Thoris is played by Lynn Collins (True Blood, Haunted).

Ex Machina is a 2014 science fiction film directed by Alex Garland and starring Domhnall Gleeson, Alicia Vikander, and Oscar Isaac. The film tells the story of a young programmer named Caleb who is invited to the remote home of a billionaire CEO named Nathan to administer a Turing test on an AI named Ava. As Caleb spends more time with Ava, he begins to question Nathan's motives and his own place in the experiment.
