That means you will never travel back in time and never will kill you grandmother. That's called "Time Paradox" or "Grandfather Paradox". There are lots of theories explicating why the paradox can be avoided. By the way there is quite exotic one: "Can-Not Because Has-Not" that presumes that no one has invented the time machine in the future, because if it'll happen we have had already knew this due to existence of arriving time travelers from the future. However, such a twisted storyline is only one crucial driving force of Looper. The brilliant cast is the second. A mob killer, Joe, is portrayed by two actors, and each of them is a big name in Hollywood scoreboard. Agent J (Will Smith) takes a time jump reversal to the 1960 era to find that an alien is after the young version of Agent K (Josh Brolin) and even threatening the very existence of humankind. When Agent O (played by Emma Thompson) says Agent K died over forty years ago it gets confusing but the time jump makes many things more interesting in this plot twisting mankind saving film. Watch for the voice differences between Jones and Brolin and you decide who's who.

Vincenzo Natali's "Splice" is a kind of clever scientific horror about two geneticists who created the monster mix of girl, reptile and the ostrich. "Splice" is not rolled into something too much nerdy and viewers remain involved to a movie plot that makes them cling to the arm of the chair, putting thoughts on lofty matters before leaving the theater. Natali rushed to the scene Chimera in the days of "Cuba", but 90s he had neither the money nor the technical means. Now, there is an opportunity to implement any plan, and with them came to realize: and it is not in favor of CGI industry - just look at what happened to Gilliam and Burton. Natalie is not concerned with: he has bright enough ideas without a CGI. "Splice" justifies tons of meaningless computer graphics that have been poured on us for the last dozen years.

Based on the novel titled A Princess of Mars, John Carter was first published as a serial in magazines back in 1912 before becoming a novel. The lead character, Carter, is a veteran of the Civil War in America and while on Mars he encounters huge green barbarians who are twelve feet tall with six limbs and long dangerous tusks. It is a world that is difficult to survive in and Carter must fight his way back home again if he can.aylor Kitsch of the TV series Friday Night Lights stars as John Carter, Willem Dafoe (Daybreakers, Spider-Man 3) is Tars Tarkas, and Princess Dejah Thoris is played by Lynn Collins (True Blood, Haunted).
