Recent advances in CGI enable the characters, weapons, and landscape to radiate off the screen and envelope the audience. The battles live up to their "epic" billing. Just as importantly, Olivia Wilde brilliantly plays fearless warrior Quorra, who leads dad and kid on their perilous journey across the world dad created. Beau Garrett, a frequent Olivia Wilde screen partner, plays Siren Jem, the perfect foil to Quorra.

Edge of Tomorrow, perhaps known equally well by its tagline "Live, Die, Repeat" (featured on the DVD box) is a military-themed science fiction film starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. He dies within minutes, but finds himself resurrected through a time loop which forces him to relive the battle again and again (intentionally in the manner of a video game, only in real life). Each time he dies, but each time, his skill in combat and his knowledge of the enemy also increases, and he and Sergeant Rita Vrataski (Blunt) move another step closer to defeating their seemingly unbeatable foes and saving the planet. The film was widely praised by critics and audience members alike, and was particularly recognized for its success in breaking out of traditional gender roles with Emily Blunt's character.

In not-so-near future, in the year 2042, a mob hitman makes money by successfully assassinating human targets arriving from more distant future. Everything goes smoothly before he receives the new target: himself arriving from 2072… Now you understand why we had to begin with "Time Paradox". However, such a twisted storyline is only one crucial driving force of Looper. The brilliant cast is the second. A mob killer, Joe, is portrayed by two actors, and each of them is a big name in Hollywood scoreboard. The younger version of Joe is represented by Joseph Gordon-Levitt while the older one is played by Bruce Willis. Let's face it. First one is in love, second one is not self-confident too much, and the third one is silent and introverted, the fourth is hot-tempered and nervous. These fabulous are really turn out to be like humans. They love and hate. Spike Jonze filmed a remarkable and very metaphorical tale. He is absolutely devoided of the inherent pathos of the genre. There is no notations, no unnecessary speculations. It's strange, but very good and intelligent movie. And Max returns home to her mother.
