Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, it is the sequel to the Academy Award-winning Into the Spider-Verse (2018).

When Miles learns the Society operates on a rigid doctrine about which tragedies must be allowed to happen, he finds himself at odds with hundreds of versions of himself. Hailee Steinfeld returns as Gwen Stacy, with Jason Schwartzman voicing the villainous Spot.
Released on June 2, 2023, the film grossed over $690 million worldwide and drew rapturous reviews, with critics calling its animation among the most ambitious ever committed to a mainstream feature. It received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature and ends on a cliffhanger leading into Beyond the Spider-Verse.
Just how many searching and testing dates does it actually take before the average person finds their own true love? How many relationships does it take to find "Mr. or Miss Right? Evidently the answer is something like twenty, at least for the character in this funny film. Anna Faris (Scary Movie series, Lost in Translation) plays Ally Darling, who checks back on her past dating record of twenty men to see if she missed that special one. And with the help of her next door neighbor Colin Shea (played by Chris Evans from Fantastic Four, Rise of the Silver Surfer) asks the question What's Your Number? That number determines how many dates it may take before finding the special one. Backtracking on dating history may not be the best way to find that person but she's determined to see if she's missed him somewhere along the way. And along the way we find this hilarious movie to be entertaining. Choosing a number of around twenty may be way more than the average person has in their date book history but it can get interesting finding out what those who she left behind are up to these days.
Picture this… a couple who work together, spend lots of time together, and don't have the time to go out and find true romance with someone else decide to be intimate with each other just to have an uncomplicated "no strings attached" relationship. This is no Tracy/Hepburn movie we're talking about here. This one involves adult sexual situations and the complications that arise when sex has no repercussions. But like those old romantic movies this one is funny and shows how dense love can make you. Dylan (played by Grammy and Emmy award winner Justin Timberlake) and Jamie (Mila Kunis of Forgetting Sarah Marshall) find they are living lives reminiscent of old time romantic comedies and they see themselves in various rolls played by the likes of Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn but with modern day friends additional benefits including intimacy. op quality ensemble cast includes Woody Harrelson, Patricia Clarkson, Nolan Gould, and Richard Jenkins who blend wonderfully into the well written script."
A comedy caper about bank robbery makes for good and entertaining summer fair at the movies. Thirty Minutes or Less is produced by Ben Stiller and stars Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network) as a pizza delivery guy named Nick. Seems Nick is kidnapped while out delivering pizzas, and with a bomb strapped to his chest, forced to rob a bank in a short amount of time. The bumbling duo of bank robbers to be are played by Danny McBride (Due Date, Up In The Air) as Dwayne and Nick Swardson (Bedtime Stories, You Don't Mess With the Zohan) as Travis. Dwayne puts a contract out on his own father, known as The Major (played by Fred Ward) for his insurance policy. And to pay for the murder for hire, he must come up with a big amount of cash quickly, thus the bank robbery. elivering pizzas (and robbing banks) can be dangerous work and this story idea is loosely based on an actual Erie, PA bank robbery back in 2003. 30 minutes or less was filmed in Grand Rapids, Michigan and the site of the bank robbery was a vacant bank in Ludington, Michigan.
Poor Cal Weaver had no clue that his wife had plans to divorce him. He thought that was living the American dream: good job, great family, nice house until wife Emily (Julianne Moore from The Big Lebowski and Boogie Nights) announced she wants out of the marriage. Cal (Steve Carell of television's The Office, movies Evan Almighty, and The 40-Year-Old Virgin) has no clue as he's been out of the dating scene for quite a while but friend Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling of Lars and the Real Girl and The Believer) offers advice on how to pick up girls, what clothes to wear, and how to get back in the dating "groove".hen Cal finds out his 13 year old son has a crush on his babysitter, 17 year old Jessica (Analeigh Tipton) he also learns she has romantic interests in Cal himself. Even though Cal has plenty of help readjusting to the single life, he longs for life the way it was. Look for Kevin Bacon who plays David Lindhagen, co-worker of Cal's wife Emily. When the two begin an affair it's certainly no help for Cal's situation. Life just seems more complicated when you're in love. Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Since the DVD and Blu-Ray versions of TRON: Legacy have been big time sellers recently it seems like the future is secure for another sequel. TRON 3, 3-D version that continues on with the story line that began back in 1982, keeps the futuristic concept going while including more of the beautiful Olivia Wilde as the character known as Quorra. That persona was way underused according to many critics in the TRON: Legacy film and needed to be emphasized more. Wilde has become known for her "vamp" style roles, making her Quorra so low key she seemed to sleep through much of the movie and that needs to be livened up a bit.eff Bridges character met his demise in the Legacy film but who knows when he may reappear reincarnated or retrofitted. With emphasis placed on the characters in the story, the movie seemed to work best and that means Bridges needs to be there in some form or another. 3-D will add some visual appeal to the movie but even the original 1982 release had plenty to offer those interested in the visual "lightshow" effect presented in good sci-fi filming.
Whenever the big screen gathers together a cast like this one, it can only mean a fun filled and entertaining time for the audiences who will fill up the theaters around the globe. Jennifer Anniston (Friends, The Break-Up) is a promiscuous dentist, Jason Bateman (Arrested Development) and Colin Farrell (Minority Report, Miami Vice), and Jamie Foxx (Ray, Miami Vice) head up an extremely talented cast. Things do not go well for a group of friends who set about planning how to murder their "horrible bosses" because they stand in the way of happiness.evin Spacey, Julie Bowen, and Donald Sutherland are also among the cast of Horrible Bosses, lending star power to the promising film. Horrible Bosses might be a dedication to the many stories about how horrible some bosses treat their employees even though they somehow have been put in charge of each of their employee's daily life. Those sad stories regarding how evil some of our bosses have been and how they seem to revel in the pain and hurt feelings of their minions makes them perfect targets for revenge…. and a fun plot for a movie as well.
Jason Bateman (Couples Retreat, Silver Spoons) and Ryan Reynolds (The Proposal, Blade: Trinity) are the stars of director David Dobkin's (Wedding Crashers) movie The Change-Up and they try their best to prove it can be done. He works hard to keep his son away from the influence of gangs and out of the clutches of immigration officials as he tries to eke a living out of his trade in a town expensive to live in.emián Bichir (Weeds, The Runway) as the gardener Carlos has talent to spare and well suited for this role as a determined and caring father who tries to keep his son from the evil found on the streets of LA. Zoe Saldana just may be the most likely girl to turn into an assassin or murderer for hire around today. She has starred in some action packed movies recently (Star Trek 2, The Losers, Avatar) and seems more than capable of handling herself in situations many women could not even attempt. But she also had to be saddened by the murder of her parents and make her character sympathetic so the audience can feel her pain and back her decisions.e tend to love a "get even" movie and this one begins with Zoe Saldana's character witnessing the vicious murders of both her parents in Bogota, Columbia. Years later as an adult she still remembers and plans to seek revenge for her parents death so while she has a day job working for her uncle she is also in training to become a vigilante murderer. Tracking the murderers down, she gets closer and closer until the surprise ending. Directed by Olivier Megaton (Transporter 3) and written by Luc Besson (Arthur 3: The War of the Two Worlds).
