Written and directed by Ti West, highly respected for his work on The House of the Devil and Trigger Man, also acting in several of his movies. The story is "edge of your seat" scary and will keep audiences caught up all the way through.ara Paxton (Superhero Movie, The Last House on the Left) plays desk clerk Claire, Luke, another desk clerk at the inn is played by Pat Healy from Harmony and Me, Spooner. Kelly McGillis from Top Gun and At First Sight plays Leanne Rease-Jones and the old man is played by George Riddle (Flannel Pajamas, The Superagent). Is the phrase "dybbuk box" sounds familiar to you? You may be heard this unbelievable true story about the box being sold on eBay in 2001 to Mannis, a furniture restorer, who was warned about evil ghost, trapped inside the box, by ex-owner's granddaughter upon collection. He tried to return the box, but his offer met weird hysterical refusal. Lately, he learned lots about the box. It is originated from Lodz ghetto, where in 1938 a group of women managed to conduct the spiritual séance resulted in trapping a dybbuk in the box. Dybbuk is a Jewish-folklore evil spirit, who represents a soul of dead person, which has unfinished business in the world of living. To make things done, dybbuk infuses in the human live being, which it ultimately devours at the end. But let's go back to the story, the box and its owner survived the horrors of World War 2, and emigrated to USA, where she died in 2001 and the box were sold to abovementioned Mannis. Finally, he brings this box home and opens it. Inside, he finds strange artifacts: locks of blonde and brunette hairs, dried flower buds, a goblet with remains of wine and the statue with Hebrew word Shalom, engraved on it. Lately he sold the box due to the numerous nightmares he and his wife suffered after the box appeared in their lives. All the later owners of "dybbuk box" have reported about these nightmares and curses that accompanied their lives since they bought the box. This true story has laid in the storyline's foundation of The Possession, the movie released in 2012. The film was directed by Ole Bornedal, and screenplay was written by Juliet Snowden and Stiles White. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick are starring in the movie alongside with Grant Show, Madison Davenport and Natasha Calis. The last one portrays the main character, Em, who apparently becomes possessed by a dybbuk from the box.

Filmed as the immediate continue of the first 1974 movie in the franchise signature "shock 'till you drop" style, Texas Chainsaw 3D, picks up the story line of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre exactly where it was left off by the first movie. So, in order to refresh all the aforegoing events of the movie you may need to watch once again (or just watch) the first one. However, it's needless to say that Texas Chainsaw 3D is the seventh movie in this slasher franchise, so it would be very hard (if not impossible) to determine what the difference between them all. Nevertheless, the CGI effects are developing constantly, which, in the case of horror movies, means that the quality of bloodbaths and other meat ins and outs would be incredibly realistic in this new John Luessenhop's movie. The story of Texas Chainsaw 3D starts when Heather Miller learns that she inherits the mansions from her grandmother she never known; when she visits her new house, he realizes that the mansion is inhabited by some horrible entity. As for ensemble cast it needs some special words about: the main protagonist, a gorgeous Heather Miller is portrayed by Alexandra Daddario, who may be familiar to you by her participating in such a well-known projects as Hall Pass, Bereavement, Nurse Jackie and Damages; while Dan Yeager plays the main villain, Leatherface - you may not know him well, but this was the guy who has produced Ordinary Average Guys short film in 2011.
