It's a third appearance of Chris Hemsworth as mighty Thor after Kenneth Branagh's Thor filmed in 2011 and Joss Whedon's The Avengers filmed in 2012. The story of Alan Taylor's Thor: The Dark World is a direct sequel of the first movie and it takes place just year after the events of The Avengers. Now Thor stands against the ancient evil embodied in Malekith and his henchmen. This concentrated evil existed even before the history of our Galaxy has began. And there are no forces neither in Asgard nor on Earth to withstand them. Once again the destiny of the whole world is in Thor's hands. Once again he has to come back to Earth and fight with Malekith. When he meets his passion, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), his quest becomes more complicated – to rescue his love interest and save both Earth and Asgard. As for ensemble cast it's quite clear that previous movies successes inspired producers to inflate the budget significantly, besides the actors which were starring in the first movie Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Ray Stevenson, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins there some new Hollywood stars: Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who, Heroes, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (The Thing, Killer Elite, Faster), Zachary Levi (Stuntmen, Shades of Ray), and Tadanobu Asano (Battleship, 47 Ronin).

Armageddon is a 1998 American science fiction disaster film directed by Michael Bay. The movie follows a group of deep-core drillers who are recruited by NASA to stop a giant asteroid from colliding with Earth and causing a global catastrophe. The team, led by Harry Stamper, must travel to the asteroid, drill a hole in its surface, and detonate a nuclear bomb to split it in two.

X-Men: First Class documents their nasty break-up. They could not be "just friends.""Although the men allegedly star in X-Men: First Class, the so-called "supporting actresses" threaten to steal the show. January Jones of "Madmen" fame plays Emma Frost, villainesse supreme, co-conspirator with Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, criminal mastermind. More notably, Jennifer Lawrence—yes that Jennifer Lawrence, low-keyed "It Girl" from Winter's Bone and the Oscars' red carpet—plays Mystique, aka Raven Darkholme, shape-shifting mutant. By film's end, girl power may trump super-powers.

A new look at the relationship of vampires and humans was eventually faded and vulgarized last time. If Stephenie Meyer's prose is not acceptable for you by age or other reasons you will like Daybreakers. Invented and filmed by Michael and Peter Spierig, they at least can interest you. After securing finally over the world, vampires have done it openly fascist. The Daybreakers world is dividedon the beings first, second and even third grate, it features excessive militarization, corporatism and other attributes. The scenery, however, sometimes recalls The Matrix. Instead of farms where people got out of energy, there is stacked factories for "milking" the blood. Yes, and the "treatment" of vampire Ethan Hawke clearly held under the motto "Welcome to reality."

Lord of the Rings ... For the millions of people around the world, these words are associated with the great Peter Jackson's trilogy. And now, few people know that this trilogy has been based on the book by John Ronald Tolkien. The reason for this is that of the film managed to surpass the original source! This is true. The plot is borrowed from the book, but not completely. Certainly something has been cut, something changed. These transformations were needed. The complete transfer to the movie format does not work here, changes should be and they will only benefit to make Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring more watchable.
