With intentions of this one being a launching pad for an entirely new series of films on the "great apes taking over the planet" theory, director Rupert Wyatt along with producer and screen writer Rick Jaffa hope to see fans follow along to make this concept as big a hit.Sci-fi films with an unusual theme such as this can usually count on plenty of audience enthusiasm and as this one deals with attempting a cure for Alzheimer's it is current and relevant to what's going on around us. James Franco (Pineapple Express, 127 Hours) plays a scientist who uses apes to attempt finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease and when problems arise with one of his apes called Caesar, he simply takes the ape home with him to keep the evil lab doctors from interfering. Seems as if Caesar (played by Andy Serkis from the Lord of the Rings trilogy) has begun mutating quite rapidly and that's never a good sign as he'll soon begin leading a revolt of the apes."Also starring John Lithgow (of the Shrek series and Harry and the Hendersons), Chelah Horsdal (Marley & Me), Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) and David Hewlett (The whistleblower, Stargate: Atlantis)."

Resident Evil: Afterlife is the fourth film in the "Resident Evil" franchise. As the previous three movies it was produced by Paul Anderson, who also directed the very first of them: "The Resident Evil". The movie follows Ellis and his group of clones attacking the headquarter of the "Umbrella" corporation, located in a secure underground bunker beneath the streets of Tokyo. They kill all the staff and the security of the complex, but miss Albert Wesker, the chairman of the corporation who escapes and activates system of self-destruction of the underground headquarter in his attempt to destroy all clones of Alice. But real Alice pursues Wesker and tries to kill him in the aircraft. Wesker injects her a drug that neutralizes the T-virus, making Alice a normal person aircraft. Meanwhile aircraft crashes near Tokyo and Alice miraculously survives the fall, but does not detect Wesker…

"District 9" is a 2009 science fiction film directed by Neill Blomkamp. The movie is set in a fictional universe where a group of aliens have landed on Earth and are forced to live in a slum-like district in South Africa. The film follows the story of a government agent named Wikus van de Merwe, who is tasked with evicting the aliens from their homes.

With a stellar cast and direction by Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner, American Gangster) this science fiction film takes the audience on a trip with the spaceship's crew of the late 21st century to find the origin of humanity as we know it. The civilization of an advanced extra terrestrial race is the subject of interest that this team of scientists and archeologists investigates when they reach a distant planet. s a tribute or just to emulate the scene from Alien the crew are in suspended animation and have been for the past five years before Mudow (Kate Dickie from The Harvest, He Kills Coppers) a first officer rehabilitates the crew members physically. Ridley Scott himself said that Prometheus shares some "strands of DNA" with Alien but is another story entirely. oomi Rapace (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Beyond) stars as Elizabeth Shaw who is a scientist and archeologist who becomes somewhat of a warrior during the film. Other crewmembers include David (Michael Fassbender from Inglorious Bastards, Blood Creek), Guy Pearce (The King's Speech, The Hurt Locker) is Stannison, and Charlize Theron (Sleepwalking, The Italian Job) plays the part of Meeredith Vickers, corporate figurehead who is "somewhat of a villain" who slowly changes her skin throughout the film. Prometheus is a totally engrossing film from start to end.

The main protagonist Ethan Wate is portrayed by Alden Ehrenreich, who was "discovered" by Stiven Spielberg and starred in Melanie Shaw's Running Wild and Chan-wook Park's Stoker at the time of Beautiful Creatures release. His character Ethan tries to escape a boring reality of a teenager living in the dead end of the small town. At one day Ethan awakes after a recurring dream about unknown girl. He listens a creepy-hypnotic song called Sixteen Moons on his iPad then smelsl a quite surprising aroma of rosemary and lemon coming from nowhere and goes to school to know that there is a new girl in his class. Meanwhile, returning home he almost runs over this new girl standing in the middle of the road. He hears the familiar Sixteen Moons playing in her car and smells and notes of rosemary and lemon from her hair. Soon, he learns that this new girl is a kind of sorceress, a Caster, and his dream somehow connected with the destiny of this girl. Her name is Lena (Alice Englert) and she is about her sixteen birthday when she has to decide which part of magic force she belongs: Light or Dark.
