When the biography of Abraham Lincoln, Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is found, it was discovered to be based upon secret diaries old Abe kept himself. Soon the rumors began to fly surrounding our 16th President. Henry Surges penned the bio based on some of the writings found in Abe's diaries and the story came to life. Abe learned about vampires from his father, Thomas Lincoln back when he was eleven years old and so believed them to be real. Apparently, according to Thomas Lincoln, Abe's grandfather, also named Abraham, was killed by vampires back in 1786 and that his grandmother died as a result of an infusion of vampire's blood. This was all a result of revenge over unpaid debts incurred by grandpa Thomas. This is a "tongue in cheek" movie at best and does contain some historic incidence but mostly is played as a "what if" and is fun!tarring Benjamin Walker (Flags of our Fathers, Unconscious) as Abe Lincoln in the years before the Civil War. He travels down to New Orleans on the Mississippi River by flatboat with plans to sell goods and encounters a slave auction which affects him deeply. Following a slave buyer Abe discovers the buyer to be a vampire who is buying slaves for food and not for resale. Fiction but nun the less a very fascinating look at history as it might have been!

Moonfall is a sci-fi disaster movie that came out in 2022. It was directed and produced by Roland Emmerich and starred famous actors such as Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, and Michael Peña. The story follows two former astronauts and a conspiracy theorist who uncover a hidden truth about the moon after it suddenly leaves its orbit. The movie was shot in Montreal and had a budget of around $140 million, making it one of the most expensive independent films ever made.

It's a third appearance of Chris Hemsworth as mighty Thor after Kenneth Branagh's Thor filmed in 2011 and Joss Whedon's The Avengers filmed in 2012. The story of Alan Taylor's Thor: The Dark World is a direct sequel of the first movie and it takes place just year after the events of The Avengers. Now Thor stands against the ancient evil embodied in Malekith and his henchmen. This concentrated evil existed even before the history of our Galaxy has began. And there are no forces neither in Asgard nor on Earth to withstand them. Once again the destiny of the whole world is in Thor's hands. Once again he has to come back to Earth and fight with Malekith. When he meets his passion, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), his quest becomes more complicated – to rescue his love interest and save both Earth and Asgard. As for ensemble cast it's quite clear that previous movies successes inspired producers to inflate the budget significantly, besides the actors which were starring in the first movie Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Ray Stevenson, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins there some new Hollywood stars: Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who, Heroes, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (The Thing, Killer Elite, Faster), Zachary Levi (Stuntmen, Shades of Ray), and Tadanobu Asano (Battleship, 47 Ronin).

Star Trek is a devilishly vigorous, beautiful and sometimes even enchanting movie. The action runs so fast that it sometimes seems: there was some fiddling with the space-time continuum. The magnificent scenes like a desperate ram by Kelvin of the more powerful opponent, a trio landing near a penetrating the Planet energy borax, the emerges from a warp jump, blazing with all guns Enterprise will stick in the memory for a long time. Add to this the excellent casting, which, coupled with some rethinking of the character hits the bull's-eye thing.

Avatar is the best of what came in the cinema since The Lord of the Rings, and here's why. The scale of production and technical excellence of visuals are really amazing. There are no special effects in the movie which are familiar to modern audience . The entire film is one big special effect. Avatar is great not only technically. The film demonstrates the hitherto unprecedented details thru everything. As for the storyline, it is much uncomplicated and reminds a lot of good Hollywood movies. However, the simplicity of the basic idea does not affect the general perception of the painting. James Cameron managed to create new fairy tales, which impact the development of cinema and for more than two hours throws the audience from the gray ordinary reality, to the wonderful world of harmony and beauty.

Armageddon is a 1998 American science fiction disaster film directed by Michael Bay. The movie follows a group of deep-core drillers who are recruited by NASA to stop a giant asteroid from colliding with Earth and causing a global catastrophe. The team, led by Harry Stamper, must travel to the asteroid, drill a hole in its surface, and detonate a nuclear bomb to split it in two.
