Is the phrase "dybbuk box" sounds familiar to you? You may be heard this unbelievable true story about the box being sold on eBay in 2001 to Mannis, a furniture restorer, who was warned about evil ghost, trapped inside the box, by ex-owner's granddaughter upon collection. He tried to return the box, but his offer met weird hysterical refusal. Lately, he learned lots about the box. It is originated from Lodz ghetto, where in 1938 a group of women managed to conduct the spiritual séance resulted in trapping a dybbuk in the box. Dybbuk is a Jewish-folklore evil spirit, who represents a soul of dead person, which has unfinished business in the world of living. To make things done, dybbuk infuses in the human live being, which it ultimately devours at the end. But let's go back to the story, the box and its owner survived the horrors of World War 2, and emigrated to USA, where she died in 2001 and the box were sold to abovementioned Mannis. Finally, he brings this box home and opens it. Inside, he finds strange artifacts: locks of blonde and brunette hairs, dried flower buds, a goblet with remains of wine and the statue with Hebrew word Shalom, engraved on it. Lately he sold the box due to the numerous nightmares he and his wife suffered after the box appeared in their lives. All the later owners of "dybbuk box" have reported about these nightmares and curses that accompanied their lives since they bought the box. This true story has laid in the storyline's foundation of The Possession, the movie released in 2012. The film was directed by Ole Bornedal, and screenplay was written by Juliet Snowden and Stiles White. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick are starring in the movie alongside with Grant Show, Madison Davenport and Natasha Calis. The last one portrays the main character, Em, who apparently becomes possessed by a dybbuk from the box.

Let's start with the fact that the "Survival of the Dead" was shot by not just a master of horror, but practically the first creator of the mythical creature known as "zombies" in a movie. Undoubtedly the first work of George Romero's masterpiece, and were simply "Survival of the Dead" became the sixth film with the theme of "zombies" in the collection of Romero. The script was itself written by Romero, and frankly, it is bad … movie features as the sequel to "Diary of the Dead", but the lack of "documentary" in the story left no chances to get it. In addition there is no sharp plot twists. And if in the earlier parts "Survival of the Dead" hided some philosophical sense, in that part of everythig lies just on the surface…

The The Descent 2 movie came out quite good, though not quite clear on what audience its targeted: the big money is clearly not the film strong component. There is something that fans of Neil Marshall's movies really have to be angry about. No, the new director did everything well, but he films as there is manual on directing in his hands. Harris can build his own personal Descent by deadly accurate proportions. Each of the characters is on the path of least resistance: the main character tries to atone her sins; deliberately bad cop is concerned how annoying the viewer only, faceless extras just dies beautifully and in the diverse ways…

The Craft is a 1996 American supernatural horror film directed by Andrew Fleming. The movie follows a group of high school girls who discover they have magical powers and form a coven. As they experiment with their newfound abilities, their friendship is tested and their desires become increasingly dangerous.

After her divorce Sarah and her teenage daughter, Elissa move to a small rural town hoping to start their lives anew. The upscale community hides some very scary goings on that evidently occurred in the house next door to theirs and things begin happening very soon. Danger and evil lurk behind this small town's sleepy exterior and both mom and daughter soon find their dream home is haunted and teeming with terror and violence. Evidently years ago a girl killed both her parents as they slept in their beds in the house next door. She disappeared leaving Ryan (her brother) as the lone survivor of the family. When Elissa and Ryan get cozy the dangers grow! Elissa is played by Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games), Sarah is played by Elisabeth Shue (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), and playing Ryan is Max Thieriot (The Family Tree). Small towns seem to have more secrets even than large cities or at least they sure seem to have scarier past histories.

Valhalla Rising is a film about one-eyed dumb warrior. He possessed supernatural powers and many considered him the leader of the Norwegian Bard. But, if you expect to see action and tough battles, then it is worth to watch this movie for you. This is a very weird film; it does that one to watch with your friends or girlfriend. This is a movie that you want to watch, watch and think. In the beginning, when you look at the first footage of this dark movie, it seems that the camera was given into the hands of the layman, but then when you start with a head dive into the dark species, when you put it mildly, they "kill". Landscapes in the film are though gloomy, constant sleet and cold wind, but it's all so subjects that pervades. Very slowly moving forward action the Valhalla Rising allows you to enjoy the beauties of nature. And the cruelest human flesh chopping looks cool in these surroundings.
