"Destroy All Monsters" is a 1968 Japanese science fiction movie directed by Ishirō Honda. It was produced and distributed by Toho Studios, the company behind many kaiju films, including the "Godzilla" series. In the film, an alien race known as the Kilaaks takes control of Earth's monsters, including Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan, and forces them to attack cities around the world. It's up to a team of human scientists to discover the Kilaaks' base and put an end to their invasion.

Hollow Man is a 2000 science fiction horror film directed by Paul Verhoeven. The story is centered around a group of scientists who have developed a serum that can make a person invisible. The lead character, Sebastian Caine, played by Kevin Bacon, is the first to test the serum on himself. Initially, the experiment is a success, but as time passes, Caine starts to experience side effects, including losing his ability to become visible again. His descent into madness causes him to become violent and obsessed with power, leading to a series of terrifying events.

A woman in Italy comes to believe her own mother is responsible for the deaths of three people. She was apparently insane and the savage murders were the result of her own exorcism. Now the daughter sets out to find out why and how her mother became so "possessed" that she could kill. Now that she has herself become involved in a series of exorcisms, she tries to learn all she can while discovering the story behind her mother's apparent mental breakdown. A Baja resort, now abandoned is the property of a drug dealer who stashed a large amount of cocaine there somewhere. Paranoid over his "stash" being found, he decides to hire a scientist who can make up a horrifying monster as guardian of his drugs. The drug stash has been secure for years until lately when people are found to be approaching the area for no apparent reason. Why do they go there? And who will find the drugs first? Starring Fernanda Andrade (The Mentalist, Sons of Anarchy), Evan Helmuth (Love's Christmas Journey, Mr. Woodcock), and Simon Quarterman (EastEnders, Perfect Strangers), The Devil Inside is truly creepy!

Frankly speaking, The Crazies is like a "Grindhouse" in action, an old school thriller, but filmed with a serious mien, without exaggerated nostalgia for the good old days, when the cinematograph was able to produce the thrills using the simple means. All this we watched millions of times already, this is the task of directing talent here - to impress the audience at the sight of the same in a one million and first time. And if the original version of "The Crazies" was to heavy on political satire and protest against the Vietnam War, a modern remake is already deprived of these options…

Guillermo del Toro once again tries to horrify as after a spooky Don't Be Afraid of the Dark - now, with his next horrendous creature Mama (2013). The story of Mama starts from scene where two sisters Victoria (Megan Charpentier) and Lilly (Isabelle Nélisse) mysteriously disappear in the nearby forest, after their mother was ferociously killed by their father. Lilly's and Victoria's uncle, Lucas (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) tries his best to investigate this strange disappearing and to find little girls, if it's possible. But days has pass, and his rescue expedition hasn't show any results. In desperation he seeks and seeks his nieces again making it almost the main mission of his life. Finally, when he is about to give it up, he encounters a weird cabin in the forest, where two girls are living on their own, safe and in the good health. And there would be nothing extraordinary, if we talked about days of searching. But, almost five years have passed since, Victoria and Lilly were missed… That asks lots of questions. How little girls survived in the forest alone? Were they alone? And who was welcomed in Uncle Lucas's house alongside with the children? It seems like little girls' mother haunted their minds and what was taken as aftermath of the stress now turns to be a paranormal entity, Mama that has infested Lucas' house. The situation becomes really horrifying when Lucas's girlfriend, Annabel (Jessica Chastain) decides to use hidden demonic powers of Mama to resurrect her own children, which died many years ago.

You might remember the first of The Last Exorcism and its cam-shaking found-footage style. Thanks god, The Last Exorcism Part 2 is made in normal way without boring "real-footage" effects. Like in th previous one, Ashley Bell stars in this movie too as Nell Sweetzer, a terrified girl found lurking in the woods and latter rehabilitating after the previous exorcism which turns out be just an act of clearing the way for greater evil eager to settle in Nell's tiny body. Further, unlike the first movie directed by Daniel Stamm (The Darkness, Angry Little God, A Necessary Death), the second "Last Exorcism" is directed by the less known Ed Gass-Donnelly (Small Town Murder Songs, This Beautiful City) which may lead to some underestimating of the horrifying power of this movie, but watching the trailer will left you reassured. The filming is great, the horror scenes are powerful, and the evil is realistic. Thanks to the writer Damien Chazelle (Grand Piano, Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench) the movie plot looks solid and scenario twists are plausible.
