Hatchet II is a follow up to the 2007 original Hatchet. After being stranded in the wilderness and fending off swamp monsters Marybeth (Danielle Harris) manages to get away from the disgusting killer Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder). Once she returns home she learns she has ties to the hatchet carrying psycho and feels she must return to Louisiana with an army of many to seek revenge on the killer Victor and salvage as many of her families bodies as she can. Hatchet II is sure to bring you as much gore and blood as the original.

After it wrapped in November, 2009, Season of the Witch, an old-school horror movie starring Nicholas Cage and Ron Perlman, went into a strange suspended animation. In November, 2010, the studio finally distributed a trailer with very little fanfare, and setting a release date in mid-January, 2011. The guys and gals set out to have a memorable weekend and don't yet realize just how memorable this will turn out to be. Sharks don't reside in fresh water lakes, or do they? he group dons their bathing suits and dive in but the day turns dark and dangerous when Malik, a football star comes out of the water missing an arm! The" found footage" genre was used almost to death in the period of 2005-2012. However, Scott Derrickson's Sinister is something bigger than regular "found footage scary movie". In Sinister, where Derrickson's talent is multiplied on Ethan Hawke's play, the old fashion draggy movie blossoms with new fruitful flowers conceiving the new levels of horror film's quality. The story begins, when the main protagonist, Ellison finds a footage which was made a long time ago by the previous inhabitants of his new house. As it follows from the footage, four members of the family were hanged on the nearest trees, while fifth one; a little girl has disappeared somewhere and hasn't been found since. As the professional writer, specializing on the scandalous crime stories, he begins his own investigation with the help of local deputy sheriff (James Ransone, who may be familiar to you as Officer Thomas Prudenti in The Son of No One). As they excavate new facts and stories about this mysterious murder they find similar cases where entire families was killed besides the little girls which are still missing. Step by step Ellison immerses deep into the horror of these mysterious deaths becoming increasingly unsettled mentally, as the rest of his family show the sings of serious emotional distress. His wife Tracy (Juliet Rylance, who played in Adam Shaw) and 12-year-old Trevor (Michael Hall D'Addario who played in People Like Us) hear strange frightening voices that are coming out from the attic where the scary footage was found.

College kids spending the weekend in a woodsy cabin find out why it has become a scary place to stay as the events unfold, keeping them in fear of their lives and dependent on each other to survive. Seems there are supernatural events happening that take on a science fiction/reality type face that puts fear into each and every one who spends that weekend there in the Cabin in the Woods.
