The most fun of The Wolfman is to watch the play of three great actors: Benicio Del Toro, Hugo Weaving Anthony Hopkins, who does not appear on the big screen for the long time. The absence of a distinct conflict in the plot of the film leads to interesting effects in the masters' play: if Del Toro is still trying to reveal the nature of Lawrence somehow, suffering in the role and scope of the scenario, the Hopkins returns Hannibal Lecter to the screen and Weaving gives as the Agent Smith. By the end they both almost cease to hold themselves and The Wolfman turns into a feast of film fans from computer horror game. Frankly speaking, The Crazies is like a "Grindhouse" in action, an old school thriller, but filmed with a serious mien, without exaggerated nostalgia for the good old days, when the cinematograph was able to produce the thrills using the simple means. All this we watched millions of times already, this is the task of directing talent here - to impress the audience at the sight of the same in a one million and first time. And if the original version of "The Crazies" was to heavy on political satire and protest against the Vietnam War, a modern remake is already deprived of these options…

You may be heard this unbelievable true story about the box being sold on eBay in 2001 to Mannis, a furniture restorer, who was warned about evil ghost, trapped inside the box, by ex-owner's granddaughter upon collection. He tried to return the box, but his offer met weird hysterical refusal. Lately, he learned lots about the box. It is originated from Lodz ghetto, where in 1938 a group of women managed to conduct the spiritual séance resulted in trapping a dybbuk in the box. Dybbuk is a Jewish-folklore evil spirit, who represents a soul of dead person, which has unfinished business in the world of living. To make things done, dybbuk infuses in the human live being, which it ultimately devours at the end. But let's go back to the story, the box and its owner survived the horrors of World War 2, and emigrated to USA, where she died in 2001 and the box were sold to abovementioned Mannis. Finally, he brings this box home and opens it. Inside, he finds strange artifacts: locks of blonde and brunette hairs, dried flower buds, a goblet with remains of wine and the statue with Hebrew word Shalom, engraved on it. Lately he sold the box due to the numerous nightmares he and his wife suffered after the box appeared in their lives. All the later owners of "dybbuk box" have reported about these nightmares and curses that accompanied their lives since they bought the box. This true story has laid in the storyline's foundation of The Possession, the movie released in 2012. The film was directed by Ole Bornedal, and screenplay was written by Juliet Snowden and Stiles White. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick are starring in the movie alongside with Grant Show, Madison Davenport and Natasha Calis. The last one portrays the main character, Em, who apparently becomes possessed by a dybbuk from the box.

The picture tells us about the Reverend Marcus Cotton, who brilliantly preached in church and enjoys popularity among the faithful audience. But it turns out, that Marcus doubts the existence of God. In addition to preaching the good, he earns, and not badly, on the procedures for exorcism. And of course, he does not believe in any demons, and all of his exorcism - is well laid productions with some special effects ... and now the Reverend decides to show the world that in fact there is no demon, but that is only the sick people who need to be treated. To this end, he takes on the case crew of two people to make a documentary. The next thing is to exile alleged demons from 16 years of Nell. Ving Rhames (Bringing Out the Dead, Pulp Fiction) plays Deputy Fallon, a man with prosthetic legs who lost them in Piranha 3D. Christopher Lloyd (Back To the Future Trilogy) is Mr. Goodwin, Danielle Panabaker (Mr. Brooks, The Crazies) is the water park's step daughter, Maddy, working at the Big Wet during the summer. David Hasselhoff and Gary Busey have cameo roles in Piranha 3DD.
