"Oslo" is a 2021 drama film directed by Bartlett Sher and based on the Tony Award-winning play of the same name by J.T. Rogers. The movie follows the true story of the secret negotiations between the Israeli and Palestinian leaders that led to the historic Oslo Accords in 1993. The film stars Andrew Scott and Ruth Wilson as the Norwegian diplomats who orchestrated the talks, with supporting roles from Jeff Wilbusch, Salim Dau, and Waleed Zuaiter.

The Roommate's premise seems simple enough, and in light of Virginia Tech and elsewhere, maybe even plausible. The studio says The Roommate is, ""A psychological thriller about a deranged college freshman who becomes obsessed with her new roommate." If the girls take Psych 101, they may learn "deranged" is not appropriate clinical vocabulary for a girl who systematically and deliberately murders all of her roommate's friends and loved ones. To their credit, Leighton Meister who plays Rebecca, first-year serial killer, and Minka Kelly, who plays Sara, unwilling object of obsession, rise above primitive writing and production values that fall far short of the balance between sex and fear, redeeming the movie as much as any two gifted girls might. The Roommate may be more valuable as a promotional piece for Los Angeles Loyola Marymount University; and, over time, the film may be far notable as a showcase for 2011 college fashions than for its riveting representations of paranoid schizophrenia. Will those nasty blood stains wash out of that adorable Abercrombie skirt?

Derek Cianfrance's The Place Beyond the Pines has got an impossible 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes just after the movie hit the screens of Toronto International Film Festival. The brilliant play of actors cast and powerful drama has received positive critical acclaim by most of the critics reviewed the movie. The main protagonist Luck Glanton is played by Ryan Gosling (Gangster Squad, The Ides of March, Drive), who managed to outdo himself in The Place Beyond the Pines. Eva Mendes (Girl in Progress, Fast Five, Last Night) also stars in the movie as Luck's girlfriend, Romina, and the chemistry between these two characters is on the verge of an incredible. As the release time comes closer, Emily is showing more signs of anxiety. This anxiety leads to serious psychological issues and Emily takes psychologist consultations. The doctor prescribes a new drug to heal her troubled mind – a brand new wonder of modern pharmaceutical industry. The pills help Emily but incredibly effective medication shows its side effects. Now the issues caused by the pills seem to be much more threatening than initial Emily's troubles. Previously named The Better Pills, Side Effects isn't the first Steven Soderbergh's movie project in the field of "applied psychotechnics", just remember his We Need to Talk About Kevin and Playground; neither for Rooney Mara who plays the leading role in Side Effects, her remarkable roles in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Social Network have showed a great potential of this brilliant actress. The rest of the cast ensemble is awesome too: Channing Tatum, Vinessa Shaw, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones, David Costabile and Mamie Gummer – not every movie can boast such a set of great actors gathered in single project.

In the year of 1939, the King and Queen of United Kingdom, George VI and Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon are visiting New York to seek the help from America in a forthcoming War with Germany. The success of their voyage is totally dependent on negotiation with the President of the United States, Franklin Delano Roosevelt who has invited the Royals to his residence - Hyde Park on Hudson. Meanwhile, FDR himself is experiencing hard times with domestic policy and low ratings of trust. The situation is even getting worse when Margaret Suckley, a Roosevelt's mistress and distant cousin joins him alongside with his wife and children to ensure the pleasant stay of royal couple during the weekend. This crucial parley is going to turn out to be the fateful pivot point both of the world history and FDR and Margaret relationships. Few people know ins and outs of this historical meeting and Roger Michell's movie, Hyde Park on Hudson, unfolds the truth about it. It showcases lots of funny moments (just imagine facial expression of Royals, when Margaret announces hot dogs as main dish of the lunch), misapprehensions at the edge of fouls and lots of other objectionable situations FDR and Margaret masterly get out from. The right chemistry between the perfectly selected actors and actress make this movie definitely delicious and easy to watch. Franklin D. Roosevelt is portrayed by Bill Murray. Laura Linney plays Margaret Suckley while Olivia Williams plays Eleanor Roosevelt, FRD's wife. The Royal couple is played by Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth and Samuel West as King George VI.
