In an age where women are considered second class citizens and not allowed to hold jobs of any value, Albert Nobbs finds work as a butler in a posh Dublin hotel. Nobbs however just happens to be a woman who sees the opportunity to make a living even though it is discouraged in Ireland in the 19th century. This works fine until she falls for a handsome man and wants to escape from the lies she has lived with. Glenn Close first fell in love with the Albert Nobbs character and played the part back in 1982 in an off Broadway play. She purchased the rights and began working to make this highly entertaining film. ross dressing is something that has always been controversial and remains in use today even by mothers in Afghanistan who dress their young daughters up to appear like boys so they won't be harassed in public. Water for Elephants comes out in 2011 as an adaptation from the novel by Sara Gruen published in 2006. The movie, starts as a flashback of an old man and is set during the time of the Great Depression stars Robert Pattinson, of Twilight fame, playing a veterinary student, named Jacob Jankowski, who is orphaned and finds himself jumping aboard a passing train transporting the Benzini Brothers traveling circus. Jacob becomes the de facto veterinarian for the circus animals, including an elephant, name Rosie, who is 'un-trainable' until Pattinson's character finds a way to get through to her. Of course, there is a love triangle involving Pattinson, Academy Award winner Christopher Waltz, and the ever so hot Resse Witherspoon in here as well, but in order to avoid the spoiler, no more will be said. Suffice it to say, those who want to feel that 'tug' at their heartstrings will not be disappointed.

"Oslo" is a 2021 drama film directed by Bartlett Sher and based on the Tony Award-winning play of the same name by J.T. Rogers. The movie follows the true story of the secret negotiations between the Israeli and Palestinian leaders that led to the historic Oslo Accords in 1993. The film stars Andrew Scott and Ruth Wilson as the Norwegian diplomats who orchestrated the talks, with supporting roles from Jeff Wilbusch, Salim Dau, and Waleed Zuaiter.

Jane Eyre a classic movie in every sense of the word… Based on the classic book by Charlotte Bronte, Jane Eyre the movie (2011) is a period romance that explores the characters life as defined by stages. Jane is first abused, both physically and emotionally, by cousins and aunts while residing at Gateshead. School days at Lowood find her acquiring friends although she misses out on a lot of her youth. Later Jane becomes a governess at Thornfield Hall where she falls in love with Edward Rochester, her employer.ane Eyre was written as a first person type story so is somewhat an autobiography with darkness and social criticism. It does make a good "read" however, as there is a strong sense of morality in this young woman in spite of all she's been through in her lifetime.

Enter the Void movie features an awesome special cinematographic experiment. From the start of the film we are looking at the world through the eyes of its protagonist Oscar (Nathaniel Brown). When he blinks, the picture disappears. His thoughts, we hear his voice-overs. The story begins in a small, cramped Tokyo apartment. The balcony shows us a view at the busy street. A bright sign «ENTER» is on the other side of the road. Oscar calls Linda (his sister) and pointing to a flying airplane in the sky, said that he would like to see Tokyo from a height. She replied that she would be scared. He asks her: "What are you afraid?". She says: "Death, I suppose. Falling into the void. " Then the hero picks up a book and we see the Tibetan Book of the Dead closeup. He says he gave it to honor his friend Alex. His sister is skeptical, calling him "upright". Then she says goodbye and leaves. Left alone, Oscar takes a dose of DMT. The next five minutes we are enjoying special effects, revealing the visions of the hero. Of the trip he takes a phone call. His friend Victor calls. He wants Oscar to bring him his stuff and says that awaits him at the Void title bar. Oscar hardly wakes up and there suddenly comes Alex. The meantime, he asked about the Book of the Dead, to which Oscar replied that he reads it and likes. Alex in the conversation makes it clear that he likes the sister of Oscar. They leave the apartment and sent into the Void. On the way Alex tells Oscar his own version of the Tibetan Book of the Dead story. Then he advises Oscar to stop selling drugs and get a job. When they are reached the Void title sign, Alex refuses to enter there and promises to wait for an Oscar in the street. The attempt to sell the drugs to Victor ends with Oscar's death, but we are still looking thru his eyes… and there movie begins.
