Back when World War I was about to begin so was an odd friendship between Psychiatrist Sigmund Freud and a young fledgling shrink, Carl Jung. There is also a beautiful woman that creates conflicts between the two men and also the fact that psychoanalysis is in its formative years. This combination makes for some rather dangerous methods of treating mental patients and those who can't quite cope with society. Canadian director David Cronenberg (The Brood, Scanners) may be somewhat out of his element with this story because it's more talky than his usual action packed films. Starring Viggo Mortensen (The Lord of the Rings series) as Freud, Michael Fassbender (Inglorious Basterds, Fish Tank) as Jung, and Keira Knightley (Atonement, Pirates of the Caribbean series) as the beautiful Sabina Spielrein, the woman who comes between Jung and Freud. She eventually became a successful therapist in her own right. Considered a historical film, A Dangerous Method deals with what happened back when psychotherapy was in its infancy and how psychiatrists learned how to best help those with mental problems.

This intriguing movie is based on factual events that occurred in a post war Bosnia in which any thing goes. Rachel Weisz (The Lovely Bones, The Brothers Bloom) stars as Kathryn Bolkovac, an American officer of the law who decides to help out by becoming a peacemaker in a war torn Bosnia. What she discovers is a underground world of corruption and a blossoming sex trade involving children and adults. Live humans are valuable and are sold to the highest bidders. Plenty of intrigue, corruption, and diplomatic cover-ups linked to the UN and also some (U.S. military) contractors. Bolkovac is put to the ultimate test as she tries to help in the rebuilding of this devastated area and comes up with far bigger problems than she could have imagined. Also stars Vanessa Redgraves (playing Madeleine Rees) and Benedict Cumberbatch (as Nick Philips), The Whistleblower is a very thought provoking and intriguing movie.

This is a bad time and worse part of the country to attempt this but Skeeter is determined. At first the black women refuse to speak but then one and another speak up. New friendships will be forged and the times are changing for both races in this heartfelt Walt Disney Picture. mma Stone (Zombieland, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past) is Skeeter Phelan, the intrepid writer. Sissy Spacek (Coal Miner's Daughter, Carrie) plays the Missus Walters, Aibileen (played by Viola Davis from Eat, Pray, Love) is the first to begin speaking with the writer. And Aunjanue Ellis (The Good Wife, Motherhood) is Yule Mae Davis who also opens up with her story of life as one of "The Help" in the deep south of the 1960's. And they have a lot to say.

His manager Saul and best friend Kirby both try to help Charles but ineffectually.
