The Lincoln Lawyer (2011) is an film adaptation of Michael Connelly's novel written and published in 2005. The Lincoln Lawyer movie's plot is loosely based and showcases the life and job of criminal defense attorney Mickey Haller conducting his business from the backseat of the Lincoln Town Car driven by his formerly client who works off his legal fees as a Mickey Haller's driver. The movie centers on an unusual case of Louis Roulet, a Los Angeles real estate agent and a son of major businessman, who seems to be mistakenly accused in rape and attempt to murder his female "victim". Among the Mickey's cases of drug dealers, narco-barons and other wide-range "innocent" criminals, the Louis Roulet's defense seems to be an easy job of justification of innocent man. The greatest crime of the century is about to happen, however neither FBI agents, not Thaddeus are approached a step closer to unlock the puzzle of The Four Horsemen's riddle. Devil is 2010 horror movie loosely based on the story of M. Night Shyamalan and the script created by Brian Nelson. It's assumed that the film will be the first in the "The Night Chronicles" franchise about the dark forces implemented in the modern city life. The film intro starts with the fact that the worker commits suicide by jumping from a skyscraper. The story is told by Ramirez (Jacob Vargas) a security guard of skyscraper, who mentions that his mother told him stories about the Devil, wandering through the land, whose appearance is always marked by suicide. In place of suicide comes Detective Bowden (Chris Messina), who is successfully struggles against alcohol addiction after the death of his wife and child in a car accident. Meanwhile the five strangers stuck in an elevator of the skyscraper, eventually realize that among them there is the devil himself…

Focus is a 2015 film starring Will Smith as Nicky, an accomplished con artist, and Margot Robbie as Jess, his apprentice. While Nicky teaches Jess his trade, the two become involved in a romantic relationship. Uncomfortable with the change in their situation, Nicky severs the relationship, only to encounter Jess again years later while working a dangerous job in Buenos Aires involving a billionaire international race car owners. Jess is working the opposite side of the same scam that Nicky is involved in—the most dangerous job he has tackled yet. To add to Nicky's woes, Jess is now an accomplished con artist in her own right, and manages to throw Nicky off his game at a time when he cannot afford to be anything but focused. What will happen when these two seasoned con artists with a romantic history collide?

"Lizzie" is a film released in 2018 that tells a fictionalized account of the infamous Lizzie Borden case. Directed by Craig William Macneill, the movie is a psychological thriller based on the events surrounding the murder of Lizzie's father and stepmother in 1892. The story explores the strained relationship between Lizzie and her strict, controlling father, as well as the influence of the family's maid, Bridget Sullivan.

Snitch centers on a desperate father, who has his son being sentenced for decades, after being arrested for participating in drug dealing scheme. The father is played by Dwayne "Rock" Johnson, who is certainly familiar to you by his roles in Fast Five franchise and high-profile failure Journey to Mysterious Island. You may also remember his roles in Faster as Driver and in The Other Guys as Christopher Danson. In Snitch Johnson has to impersonate the kind of a guy, he does best: responsible and adamantine. His character decides to make a deal with U.S. Attorney to become a snitch, a whistleblower working undercover amidst top-ranked criminals. If he manages to expose the international drug lord, his son will got a chance to avoid the jail, if not he will lose his life and lives of loved ones, and his son will be jailed for the rest of the life.
