The storyline of Alfonso CuarГіn's psychological sci-fi drama Gravity (2013) revolves around the destinies of two astronauts on the extraordinary pivotal points of their lives. They were observing the breathtaking views of Earth, when Space reminded them that it is definitely not a pleasant place for sightseeing. A horde of space junk has bombarded their space station and destroyed it while they were in outer space. They were lucky enough not to be inside, but how long they survive outside, with no radio connection with Huston space center and limited oxygen supply on their space suits? When fear turns to panic, an every additional breath decreases both their lifetime and chances to survive. Dr. Ryan Stone is portrayed by Sandra Bullock, whose filmography includes such a brilliant roles as Leigh Anne Tuohy in The Blind Side and Gracie Hart in Miss Congeniality, while Matt Kowalsky is played by George Clooney (The American, Ocean's Friends franchise, From Dusk Till Dawn.)

Written by John Landis and his son, Max, Chronicle takes the audience on a rollercoaster ride of adventure as we watch three teenaged boys who learn they are developing superpowers after exposure to some mysterious substances while walking through the woods nearby their homes. Typical of many teenagers these boys find they have a rather dark side to their personalities when their strange and powerful new capabilities become increasingly strong. They each must decide how best to handle their powers and while impressive, they can also be dangerous to themselves and others. ohn Landis is well known as director of such fun and entertaining movies as Animal House and American Werewolf in London and now teams up with his son, Max to come up with this delightful film. Shot in a pretend documentary style, and using hand held cameras (think Blair Witch Project), Chronicle is entertaining and enlightening.tars Michael B. Based on a graphic novel from 2006, Cowboys & Aliens is the latest offering from Steven Spielberg and producers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer. It takes place in Arizona back in 1873 and we find a loner, Jake Lonergan played by actor Daniel Craig (Quantum of Solace) who wakes up to find he has no memories of his past but mysteriously finds he has a shackle on his wrist. As he moves on he discovers he is a wanted man and needs to align himself with the man who runs Absolution, Arizona Colonel Woodrow Dolarhyde played by Harrison Ford (of Indiana Jones fame). When it is discovered the shackle on Jake's arm is a vital clue to his past, he and Dolarhyde must take a stand against a mysterious foe who seems to be all powerful. Woodrow Dolarhyde is the man and he totally rules the town of Absolution as Craig and the viewing audience soon become to realize and his shackle holds the key to solving the mystery. Sam Rockwell, Paul Dano, Olivia Wilde, and Keith Carradine head up a quality cast.

Sixty years have passed since the first attack of aliens. For a long time our planet were nothing more but place of disastrous war between earthlings and extraterrestrial form of live named Scavs. We've won the war, but Earth was totally devastated turned into hostile yet dangerous desert. He manages to save the life of beautiful woman, Julia, who seems to be familiar with him. However Jack doesn't know her and rests assured the he never met her. This event turns the known world of Jack Harper inside out. It seems like he was wrong about his purpose on the Earth. Soon after he meets the real population of the planet, a Resistance, and its leader Malcolm Beech. Oblivion was filmed by Universal Studios after the Radical Comics graphic novel of the same name. The movie stars Tom Cruise (Mission Imposible franchise, Van Helsing, All You Need Is Kill) as Jack Harper and Olga Kurylenko (La terre outragée, James Bond: Quantum of Solace, Max Payne) as Julia, while resistance leader is portrayed by Morgan Freeman (Now You See Me, Olympus Has Fallen, The Dark Knight Rises).

Starting as a psychological thriller half-baked in the early Shyamalan style, closer to the second hour "The Box" quietly and gradually reaches some incredible degree of psychedelic action that much similar to Kelly - Lynch and Kubrick. Absolutely not sparing the audience (even forgetting it), Richard Kelly continues to swing the flywheel of action, reeling him more and more new characters, then explaining that by entering into contradiction with itself, and at the last minute just shot at close plan.
