Ballet 422 is a 2015 documentary by cinematographer and documentarian Jody Lee Lipes, and offers viewers a rare look behind the curtain of the professional world of ballet. The film follows Justin Peck, the 25-year-old choreographer of the New York City Ballet as he strives to create the ballet company's 422nd original piece while also balancing other professional commitments in the ballet world. This film offers an intimate look at Peck's creative process, and has been well received by critics. Not only does the movie provide startling insight into the process that brings an idea from its inception into realization as a ballet show, but it also highlights the commonplace workaday atmosphere that pervades life behind-the-scenes in an industry which is usually enshrouded in glamour. It's a Christmas time of 2004. An ordinary British family Henry (Ewan McGregor) and Maria (Naomi Watts) visits Thailand on vacations with their three children: Lucas, who is just turned 7, and his younger brothers Simon and Thomas (children are played by Tom Holland, Oaklee Pendergastand and Samuel Joslin, accordingly). As they reach the Thai hotel, their family suit is upgraded to villa, a horrible decision, as it turns after. They are exchanging some Christmas gifts and heading to the coastline the morning after. Nothing has presaged a catastrophe. But meanwhile the terrible roar is heard from the seaside, and, in the moment, a giant wave of Tsunami covers the shoreline with all the tourists on it, including Henry, Maria and their beloved children. The wave is crashing trees, houses, cars, throwing human bodies to right and left. In a few seconds it appears that Henry, Simon and Thomas were picked up by the strong current and wiped to the inner part of land while Maria and Lucas are struggling for their survive in the roaring waves full of fallen tries which strike them inflicting terrible wounds, and making "the happy end" for them almost impossible. The movie, filmed by Juan Antonio Bayona, an outstanding Spanish director and producer, keeps us on the toes these first 20 minutes. The super-realistic 3D sound of imminent Tsunami is awesome, the pictures of scorched post-Tsunami landscape are phenomenally affecting, and the rest of the story based on true life events is very touchable and tragic.

A Roman hero, Coriolanus absolutely hated the people who revered him. His extreme views and inflexible beliefs incited riots and turned Ancient Rome into a bloody battleground. Even his mother, Volumnia, turned against him as politicians strove to outmaneuver and manipulate him into being more peaceful. One of the most violent periods in Roman history and with plenty of action and violence, this side of Shakespeare presents us with a viewpoint on how dangerous it was to live in Rome back then. Great location shots and plenty of fight scenes make this a fast paced film in which Shakespearian language dominates but is still easy to understand and follow.ctor Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 & 2) doubles as director and star of Coriolanus, is Caius Martius Coriolanus. Gerard Butler (Machine Gun Preacher, The Bounty Hunter) is Tullus Audfidius, Vanessa Redgrave (The Whistleblower, Letters to Juliet) portrays Volumnia, mother of Coriolanus, and Jessica Chastain (The Help, Take Shelter) is Virgilia, wife of Coriolanus. Watch for plenty of bloodshed and violence which was evidently what Ancient Rome was all about.

When Eddie Morra (played by Bradley Cooper) has an opportunity to better himself by using an experimental drug known as MDT, he finds himself far better at memory retention and with a renewed self confidence that proves valuable. He also discovers he needs more of the drug to avoid side effects. Another problem crops up when he finds there are shady hitmen who are after him for the drug. As he avoids being assassinated he meets up with a business tycoon (Robert De Niro) who sees Eddie as a potential source of ready and abundant cash. Eddie finds he can't trust anyone because power is more addictive than any drug and makes monsters out of some men."Filmed in Philadelphia and New York City, Limitless movie is a wild crazy dream like story of how far some will go to get, and keep, power and all the financial rewards that go with it. Eddie Morra may have lost his girlfriend but he found abilities far beyond his wildest dreams thanks to an experimental drug. "

Actually the film as translated from a Douglas Kennedy book of the same title works exceedingly well. The Woman in the Fifth stars Ethan Hawke (Brooklyn's Finest, Daybreakers) as the writer Tom Ricks. Ricks moved to Paris to be near his daughter but falls into hard times and needs work to get him by the writer's block he developed. Soon he becomes enraptured by a French beauty by the name of Margit and his life becomes a bit more interesting.o-starring Kristin Scott Thomas (Sarah's Key, The Other Boleyn Girl) as Margit, Joanna Kulig (Time of Honor, Janosik: A True Story) as Ania, Geoffrey Carey (Glenn The Flying Robot, The Actress' Ball) as Laurent, and Delphine Chuillot (Mozart's Sister, Silent Voice) as Nathalie. When Ricks life is turned upside down in Paris, he is helped by a French Arab fellow who gives him a job as a security agent although his passion is writing and making amends with his daughter and estranged wife. Apparently this story's writer, Douglas Kennedy is out to prove it's always darkest before the storm, at least in Paris.

As in all the fairy tale versions of this classic we find a beautiful young and desirable woman who sleeps, deeply and for long periods. The erotic version seen here in this 2011 Australian film is oddly filled with intimate encounters but strangely enough, no actual sex involved. Seems like the Sleeping Beauty named Lucy, who is played by Emily Browning (Sucker Punch, The Uninvited), is a young woman who evidently hates men enough to pick her lovers simply by a toss of a coin. She is consensually drugged with sleep medications that put her out for long periods of time, and with a wide assortment of much older men. She evidently is never actually "penetrated" however and this seems to make the audience edgy, wondering just what is going to happen and if ever anything even will, because after all, this is not supposed to be a porn film.he story is definitely told from a modern perspective and that may not work with many who come to see a classic fairy tale story, so just be forewarned.lso starring in Sleeping Beauty are Rachael Blake playing Clara, Ewen Leslie as Birdman, Mirrah Foulkes as Sophie, and Michael Dorman as Cook.
