Never Let Me Go is a 2010 drama film based on recognized all over the world novel of the same name written by Kazuo Ishiguro. Although the novel features some elements of science fiction, it is not positioned as a sci-fi book. Movie centers on the memories of Kathy, a young woman about 30 years, the film showcases her childhood in an unusual boarding school and subsequent adult life. The action takes place in the UK anti-Utopical end of XX century, in which people are cloned in purpose to create the donor organs for transplantation. Kathy and her friends at boarding school are set up as such donors. Prior to becoming a donor, they are all within a longer or shorter working time "helpers", caring and supporting those who have become donors. As in the Ishiguro's book, the truth does not become immediately clear, but disclosed gradually, through the weird hints.

A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III stars Charlie Sheen as Charles Swan III a graphic designer who is popular among the ladies, successful in professional life and generally a lucky man. But in one unfortunate moment his life suddenly changes when Charles' girlfriend Ivana, breaks with him unexpectedly. Since that moment Charles life begins to slide by a tailspin-shaped curve. His manager Saul and best friend Kirby both try to help Charles but ineffectually. The movie's action takes place in the midst of 70s' when life was still full of "sex-drug-and-rock-and-roll things: which causes an ultimate influence on the filming style of A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III. The movie is directed by Roman Coppola who has given us CQ. So, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say the film is almost a directorial debut Roman Coppola as for big-screen movie. Nevertheless we shall pay a tribute to his actors' selection – the ensemble cast is splendid and full of chemistry between the characters. As we said before Charles is played by a top-ranked American comedian Charlie Sheen (a star of Two and a Half Men, She Wants Me, Due Date and Scary Movie franchise). His girlfriend Ivana is played by a gorgeous Katheryn Winnick (a star of Vikings, Stand Up Guys and Nikita). Charles friend Kirby is played by Jason Schwartzman (Saving Mr. Banks, Moonrise Kingdom, Bored to Death), while Saul is played by Bill Murray (Hyde Park on Hudson, Passion Play, Lost in Translation).

One of the most violent periods in Roman history and with plenty of action and violence, this side of Shakespeare presents us with a viewpoint on how dangerous it was to live in Rome back then. Great location shots and plenty of fight scenes make this a fast paced film in which Shakespearian language dominates but is still easy to understand and follow.ctor Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 & 2) doubles as director and star of Coriolanus, is Caius Martius Coriolanus. Gerard Butler (Machine Gun Preacher, The Bounty Hunter) is Tullus Audfidius, Vanessa Redgrave (The Whistleblower, Letters to Juliet) portrays Volumnia, mother of Coriolanus, and Jessica Chastain (The Help, Take Shelter) is Virgilia, wife of Coriolanus. Watch for plenty of bloodshed and violence which was evidently what Ancient Rome was all about.

"Wild" is a 2014 biographical adventure drama film that tells the story of Cheryl Strayed, a young woman who embarks on a solo hiking journey to heal from the emotional trauma of her past. The film explores themes of grief, self-discovery, and the power of nature. The film was directed by Jean-Marc Vallée and stars Reese Witherspoon in the lead role.

Caroline and Jackie, directed by Adam Christian Clark showcases us a horrific scenario of one-evening dinner with unexpected quests. The movie centers on two sisters, Caroline and Jackie who seems to be the lovely siblings, but from the very first minute we are to understand that something is wrong with their relationships. First of all, Caroline unexpectedly visits Jackie at her home and invites sister and her friends to the restaurant party despite the fact that Jackie was cooking al the day to have a great dinner with her friends. As Jackie agrees to accept Caroline's invitation she learns that this improvised surprise party was arranged by Caroline to celebrate Jackie's birthday, which passed two months ago. A ridiculous dinner turns to totally boring nightmare as quests gradually immerse into sisters uneasy relations hearing Caroline jibes addressed to Jackie As everybody feels that dinner is broken they finish the dishes hastily and moves to Jackie's house. However, if you suppose that Caroline is the "bad guy" in among the siblings, it means that you dramatically underestimate Jackie's nature. And this is not the end, as the action unfolds it becomes absolutely clear that their friends, both Caroline's and Jackie's are complete ass-holes as well. It's hard to say why Adam Christian Clark so carefully and accurately filmed such a bunch of deranged characters, but nevertheless he made it masterfully.

Silver Linings Playbook is a heart touching, riotous movie based on the same name novel of Matthew Quick. The story of The Silver Linings Playbook revolves around the life of Pat Solitano, an ex-teacher, who is just released from a mental institution. David O. Russell who directed the film and wrote the screenplay immerses us in the Pat's mind allowing him to narrate the movie. We follow Pat endeavors to reunite with his ex-wife, despite of her treacherous betrayal. His family trying their best to help him, but situation changes dramatically when Pat meets Tiffany, a mentally depressed girl who agrees him to help with the reunion in exchange of some "contract" Pat agrees to "sign" with her. Step by step Pat understands that his "The Silver Lining", a theory he developed while being in a mental institution, are somehow connected with Tiffany's one. As he realize that fact, it becomes absolutely clear for him that their lives are connected and predetermined now by God's design. The movie pleases us by outstanding cast: Bradley Cooper is Pat Solitano, while Jennifer Lawrence is Tiffany. Pat's father is played by magnificent Robert De Niro and Chris Tucker is Danny.
