"Elvis" is a biographical drama film directed by Baz Luhrmann and written by Luhrmann and Craig Pearce. The movie stars Austin Butler as Elvis Presley and Tom Hanks as his manager, Colonel Tom Parker. The film explores the life of the iconic musician, from his rise to fame in the 1950s to his transformation into a cultural icon, all while dealing with the pressures of stardom and the challenges of his personal life.

Although Madonna has received plenty of scathing reviews for her directing of W.E., she apparently had enough happy critics to warrant such comments as "better than expected". In other words, the "Like a Virgin" star was bound to be poorly received no matter how good her efforts. ally Winthrop finds herself obsessed by the romance of the century and now, six decades later, she researches the ill-fated romance between a commoner and British royalty and the film flashes back and forth between decades through visits to the famous Sotheby's auction house. Starring Abbie Cornish (Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Bright Star) is Wally Winthrop, Andrea Riseborough (Made in Dagenham, Never Let Me Go) portrays Wallis Simpson, and as King Edward VIII James D'Arcy from Into The Storm, An American Haunting. Consider this a period piece that's also a costume piece with style and flair!

The Great Gatsby is the sixth adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel scheduled to release in December, 2012. As the previous movies, this one is loosely based on the book without any substantial deviations from the plot. However, unlike the previous movies Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby was mostly filmed in Sydney, Australia not in New York where the original Fitzgerald's novel action takes place. And if you haven't even read the book you should be certainly ensured that this movie is definitely worth your time. Just one short look on the stellar cast will tell you lots about how seriously the movie's creators approached to the business. Leonardo DiCaprio plays the central person of the screenplay Jay Gatsby, a millionaire whose "shady" fortune made the penniless man rich in several years. A love drama is hidden underneath of his maniacal lust for roaring parties he regularly organizes in his mansion, which he appears to purchase just because his "love of the whole life" lives nearby this place. She is portrayed by Carey Mulligan, Daisy met Jay Gatsby when he was poor, and successfully forgotten him after he has gone to War. Soon she has married Tom Buchanan (played by Joel Edgerton) and become Daisy Buchanan. Her husband Tom, as it turned out, has a mistress: Myrtle Wilson (Isla Fisher) and their relationships are moving very precipitously. Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) is the person who observes the ups and downs of this twisted love triangle and finally becomes the lonesome witness of the mournful finale of the story.

Caroline and Jackie, directed by Adam Christian Clark showcases us a horrific scenario of one-evening dinner with unexpected quests. The movie centers on two sisters, Caroline and Jackie who seems to be the lovely siblings, but from the very first minute we are to understand that something is wrong with their relationships. First of all, Caroline unexpectedly visits Jackie at her home and invites sister and her friends to the restaurant party despite the fact that Jackie was cooking al the day to have a great dinner with her friends. As Jackie agrees to accept Caroline's invitation she learns that this improvised surprise party was arranged by Caroline to celebrate Jackie's birthday, which passed two months ago. A ridiculous dinner turns to totally boring nightmare as quests gradually immerse into sisters uneasy relations hearing Caroline jibes addressed to Jackie As everybody feels that dinner is broken they finish the dishes hastily and moves to Jackie's house. However, if you suppose that Caroline is the "bad guy" in among the siblings, it means that you dramatically underestimate Jackie's nature. And this is not the end, as the action unfolds it becomes absolutely clear that their friends, both Caroline's and Jackie's are complete ass-holes as well. It's hard to say why Adam Christian Clark so carefully and accurately filmed such a bunch of deranged characters, but nevertheless he made it masterfully.

When Jimmy, a 45 year old "roadie" who has been with the Blue Oyster Cult, an 80's hair band is cast off by the band, he returns to his home town and to see his mother. Jimmy has not seen his mother since he was back to attend his father's funeral. Now he hopes to live with his mother in the very house and neighborhood he grew up in. But much has changed while he's been away, especially the neighborhood (Forest Hills, Queens in New York) which is now considered somewhat of a slum. It's difficult and sometimes even impossible to go back home again and Jimmy finds his old stomping grounds have gone to seed while he was away for all those years when old buddies take him on a tour.immy testagross is played by Ron Eldard (House of Sand and Fog, ER), Bobby Cannavale (Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Fast Food Nation) is Bobby, Nikki Stevens is played by Jill Hennessey (Crossing Jordan, Wild Hogs), Jimmy's Mom is played by Lois Smith (True Blood, Desperate Housewives), and Don Miller is portrayed by David Margulies (The Sopranos, Canterbury's Law).

The Rabbit Hole movie's pivotal event, the gut-wrenching and heart-numbing tragedy that sends Becca and Howie Cotbett down the rabbit hole, is over and done before the movie begins: Their four-year-old son has run out into the street, been hit by a teen-age driver, and died. Rabbit Hole movie deals with the more complicated, considerably more disturbing question, "Then what?" Adapted from a Pulitzer Prize winning play that enjoyed a long and distinguished run on Broadway, Rabbit Hole literally "speaks to" grown-up audiences willing to listen to the nuances in the dialogue—the language of psychotherapy laced with bitter sarcasm and fierce rage."Nicole Kidman does not merely star in Rabbit Hole movie; she makes it her personal tour de force, playing Becca with all the brittle delicacy of Wedgewood china and all the fevered intensity of a serial killer. The marquee proclaims Aaron Eckhart also stars, but he really is the fern and baby's breath to Kidman's flourishing rose bouquet. Howie cheats on his wife, and Becca stalks their baby's killer, and somehow they convince themselves and the audience that really they are just a couple of struggling suburbanites "trying to find their way back to a life that still holds the potential for beauty, laughter and happiness." Rabbit Hole movie director John Cameron Mitchell drains away the film's melodrama and pathos by rendering it in "drab, functional, TV-movie naturalism," making it beguiling and terrifying. Through Mitchell's lens, the horrific events and overwhelming emotions seem exceptionally familiar and perfectly ordinary. Rabbit Hole terrifies everyday Cineplex audiences, forcing them to recognize just how easily they might become Becca and Howie.
