One of those leaders Sebastian "Bass" Monroe (played by David Lyons: Eat Pray Love, The Cape and Mobius) is on the hunt for a man who wears a strange amulet (it looks exactly as USB flash drive), Aaron Pittman, a former Google executive, who received this "amulet" from his friend, Ben Matheson. The "amulet" appears to be a real USB data storage, and when we learn that Ben passed it secretly to Aaron just in seconds before the "blackout" it becomes absolutely clear that the USB-drive is somehow connected with the reason of "blackout" and may be a key to restore the electricity in the world.

But don't consider their neighbors some sort of ugly monsters"¦ Oh, yeah, of course they have some green goo ejaculated from ears when they cry, and, of course, they prefer to eat using eyes, not mouth, but they so adorable! So, you have ever intent to pass them to official for some cruel test, please, don't do it! Although, the TV show has gained mostly negative receptions from critics, it worth watching for many reasons. First of all it was created by legendary Dan Fogelman, and all the critics negative reviews are just a result of high expectations for these series. The second reason is the ensemble cast: the star of Entourage, Modern Family, Still Standing and ER - Jami Gertz looks natural in the extraterrestrial surrounding of Ningning Deng, Tracy Weisert and Mobin Khan.

Reasonably well adapted from big screen to small, "Highlander" showed the continuing exploits of Duncan MacLeod, super-annuated Highland warrior challenged to fight evil in the modern world. Unlike modern crime fighters who rely on DNA and cyber-tracking, MacLeod battled malefactors the old-fashioned way"”with valor, virtue, courage, and a healthy dose of vengeance. Every "Highlander" episode began with the same ritual narrative: "I am Duncan MacLeod, born four-hundred years ago in the Highlands of Scotland. I am Immortal, and I am not alone." In the first six episodes, Duncan himself delivered the preamble. MacLeod and his girlfriend, Tessa Noel, cleverly and comfortably have adapted to modern life, and they hide effortlesly in plain sight, operating an upscale antique store. From the very first iteration of the preamble, viewers understand MacLeod is by no means the only Immortal roaming the streets and subways, and not all of them are nearly so noble as MacLeod. Although he had hung-up his mace, MacLeod now has chosen to rejoin "The Game" for the sake of defending everything he cherishes as good and right. For many contemporary viewers, MacLeod represents the ever-living proof of the old adage, "Old guys rule."

Another successful crossover from British television to North American is found in Being Human. The premise of the show involves showing how different yet similar we all are and how a vampire and a werewolf can live with a ghost and all get along. Any time a combination like this one comes to the TV you can imagine how scary dark and brooding it may be but there is a lot of humor in this show as well, making it well worth watching. Aidan (Sam Witwer) is a vampire who works as a nurse in a hospital in Boston. He began his career as a prince of darkness during the Revolutionary War back in the 1860's and with a job in a hospital they might want to watch out for the blood supplies. Josh (played by Sam Huntington) happens to be a werewolf working in the same hospital as an orderly as his day job. Sally (Meaghan Rath) became a ghost after her unfortunate death and now haunts the house she had planned to live in when she got married. Now Aidan and Josh rent the house and find it to be haunted by Sally.
