Confession time on MTV - I used to be fat! Cards and letters come pouring in begging to be on the popular MTV television reality show called "I used to be fat". Young people from all over need help with their weight problems and some are really compelling to hear. Most are well over two hundred pounds and have been overweight for many years. Being heavy is not only psychologically difficult it is also extremely bad for anyone's health, especially young children and teenagers. They need support from friends and family but also a clear cut plan to lose weight that will actually work for them. Diabetes and heart problems are among the most common illnesses to befall those who weigh more than average but in the case of teenagers there are issues of self esteem and the need to socialize with their peers involved, making it a vital issue faced by many younger people. While reality TV programs like "I used to be fat" on MTV may not solve all their problems, teenagers can gain self confidence by seeing it work for others if they follow advice, may work for them as well.

The View is a daytime talk show that first aired in 1997 on ABC. The show features a panel of women who discuss current events, politics, entertainment, and other topics of interest. The original panel included Barbara Walters, Meredith Vieira, Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos, and Joy Behar. Since then, the panel has changed many times, with current hosts including Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Ana Navarro.

Another one in a row of glamorous reality TV shows from BRAVO, Pregnant in Hills is revolving around quite enthusiastic and somewhat aesthetic self-made business-woman running her own business, a super-fashionable boutique for multi-millionaire mother-to-be, which is located in the Upper East Side. Her name is Rosie Pope, she is 32 and expecting her third baby. A poetess, writer, linguist, and social media expert, now she hosts her own TV show despite his American-British accents with a light lisp, which was mocked and spoofed in the latest SNL, to say the true this fact made her even more popular. The question is what kind of popularity it was. But, nevertheless, Rosie continues to teach pregnant women of all kinds (while they rich, of course) how to manage their fears about babies breaking the rules of their jet-setting life. If you are not pregnant, and not a woman at all, do not hurry to put an end on Pregnant in Hills. By and large, it's very funny to watch Pope trying to help in choosing that kind of name for the son of deep-pocketed New-Yorkers, which do not obscure his chances to become a politician. For those who are not pregnant and cannot brag enough sense of humor to find some amusement in this kind of scenes, watching this reality series is strictly forbidden.

Saturday Night Live (or SNL) is an evening of music-comedy series on the NBC channel. SNL show is one of the most popular and long-playing in the history of U.S. television. The premiere of the SNL show is dating back in 1975 when the program was conceived by Dick Ebersol and Lorna Maykolsom. The first music director of the orchestra program was the composer Howard Shore. The format of the SNL consists of a humorous musical reprises, most of them played live by comedy actors - members of the permanent cast, with the participation of a guest host (popular celebrities) and some musical guest or quests. Typically, the series begins with a reprise in the last seconds of which one of the actors out of the way, proclaiming "Live from New York, it's - Saturday Night!" followed by a brand video and then played introductory monologue-patter with a guest presenter. Among the participants were well-known actors such as Martin Short, Bill Murray, James Belushi, Jim Carrey, Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Murphy, Hugh Laurie, Taylor Lautner, Mike Myers and others. Famous musicians are also participated: Britney Spears, Tupac Shakur, Sting, Jennifer Lopez and Rolling Stones. There were such the politicians as John McCain and Rudolph Giuliani. Over the years, SNL show has become an integral part of the cultural landscape of the United States and Canada. Widely known for exceptionally successful parody of the Presidents of the USA by Dan Aykroyd (Lyndon Johnson and Jimmy Carter), Dane Carvey (George Bush, Senior.) Derrillom Hammond (Bill Clinton), Will Ferrell (George Bush, Jr.) and Fred Armisenom (Barack Obama). During the election campaign in 2008 parody of Tina Fey spoofed the candidate for vice-president Sarah Palin, with whom Fey has a striking resemblance. Considered by many this was one of the factors affecting the elections' outcome.

Fear and loathing, friendship and love, jealousy and betrayal are reigning in the world of professional ballet. Those petite girls only seems to be tender and sweet, but deep inside their souls look more like alligators ready to eat each other in order to get a best role. However, even in this harsh world of pure competition is the place for glimpse of love. This is a story of dance-themed reality docu-drama Breaking Pointe, a new CW series featuring seven ballet stars in their everyday life and job. Christiana Bennett, is the probably oldest main character in Breaking Pointe, she is 32 and now she is at the top of her ballet career, but strong competition not allowing her to bask in the rays of glory. She is very aware of young and hungry ballerinas starving for her place. Beckanne Sisk is right that kind of young and hungry ballerina, she is extremely talented, and in her 19 she's made the brilliant dance career, most of twentysomething dancers only have to dream of. Beckanne has a friend Katie Martin, less talented by awesome girl who admires Beckanne, though in some weird way. Another character is Ronald Tilton, with whom Katie is dating. He is a dancer too, and it's hard to say what Katie and Ronald hold in the first place: ballet or relationships. Another dancing couple is Rex Tilton and Allison DeBona. It seems like Rex is totally in love with Allison, but it's clear that Allison prefers her ballet career instead of their relationships. Such a stratagem of relationships dramatically showcased in Breaking Pointe makes these TV show somewhat like The Hills, but more concerned about real problems of really talented, not only pretty, people.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver is a satirical late-night talk show hosted by British comedian John Oliver. The show premiered on HBO in 2014 and has since gained a reputation for its humorous yet informative take on current events, politics, and social issues.
