Watch MTV and the iTunes for episodes of the new hit show Geordie Shore and you will see similarities to the popular Jersey Shore. For one thing the show has its own group of "party hard" individuals who live together in an upscale house, share bedrooms, and each as their own reasons to be there. The Geordie Shore show is a British based program coming from the UK and having decidedly British points of view. The filming of Geordie Shore has been stated to be bordering pornographic due to bare breasts, six packs, fights, and simulated fellatio. Each of these vain individuals have their own reasons to submit to "reality" television. Holly states she is the most realistic "fake" person there is and her size double F chest (paid for by her mom) is a testament to that. Then there is Jay who loves himself too much to get involved with a female on the Geordie Shore show. His idea of a relationship is about him and his workouts at the gym. James, who is only 20, must check himself out each time he passes a mirror. Sophie likes to flash her "boobs" while dancing on table tops. Quite an interesting group!

What does it take to convince twenty four hopeful contestants to risk life and limb to compete for a prize of $50,000? This reality show is fast paced and looks to be extremely painful for some who slip, get knocked down, or otherwise bruised and mangled while running through the obstacles presented on Wipeout each week. As the competitions numbers are whittled down we find just how far some will go to win 50K. The games begin with twenty four and cut that number in half by competing against each other and the clock that stops for no man. The Qualifier Round, which has four obstacles to win over, will cull the slower and less lucky while the second round pares the numbers down to six. Then those who remain must face the final round and that changes each season with each being more challenging than the season before. Traversing some obstacles are easier than others but may require quicker times. Some may even be skipped entirely but that contestant will lose a certain amount of time. Taped in Canyon Country in Santa Clarita, California at the Sable Ranch, which is forty miles north of Los Angeles, hosts Jill Wagner, John Anderson, and John Henson keep the competition running as smoothly as possible.

members from MTV reality programs like Fresh Meat, Fresh Meat II, The Real World, and Spring Break Challenge and you have a game show with that reality TV flair that MTV is so good at. Game show players who have been worst enemies and competitors in the past now must compete as pairs even if they've been known to have bitter feuds in the past. There are fourteen teams of pairs with the same gender being picked for each team. This may give the males an edge depending on what the particular challenge is. But don't rule out the brains and ingenuity of those females! They perform "missions" which are to be followed up with the elimination round known as "The Jungle". The losing team each week will face "The Jungle" and the winner of the elimination round has a good chance to win the grand prize of $300,000. The public does get the opportunity to cast their vote in the mix and help decide who has been the most successful team of the season.
