This time four hosts: an American singer and actress Kelly Brianne Clarkson, a nine Grammy Awards winner John "Legend" Roger Stephens, a singer and musician Robin Charles Thicke and an American country music artist Jennifer Nettles will compete in a quite unusual way. Their aim is to outrun the rivals by winning a song contest of duets. Each duet will consist of host itself and a partner they have to find. And all the intriguing things are starting here: Clarkson, Thicke, Legend and Nettles will travel USA to find the talents on which they would be totally dependent during the series run. As Clarkson said in the first interview as the host of Duets: "The simple fact that I get to go out and find two people I believe in, sing with them every week and help them accomplish their dream is an amazing thing I can't wait to be a part of". Well, we have to hope that the sharp-cut and unordinary idea of Duets will be implemented in the best way with all the fans of American Idol getting the new exciting show to watch instead. Even more, now you have a strong reason to sing at public places hoping John Legend is somewhere nearby to hear and pick you. Because the prize is really great: a contract with Hollywood Records for a winning duo that certainly worth most hardest efforts.

Cooking shows are hot on television now days, creating serious competition among the celebrity cooks as well as prospective winners in various formats on TV. MasterChef features the likes of Gordon Ramsay (Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares) along side Joe Bastianich (restaurateur/vineyard owner), and Graham Elliot (chef/restaurant owner) as judges who oversee the contestants who come from a wide assortment of occupations including housewives, doctors, lawyers, private chefs, realtors, and travel writers. From what appears to be a huge crowd in the initial tryouts they whittle the prospects down to 100, then down to 38 or so and put them all to the test. With each contestant offering their "signature" dish to the judges, the competition begins and so does elimination, one by one. It is amazingly difficult to please all three judges as they are diverse in their likes and taste preferences, and the pressure is on to perform and show they have a talent for cooking. The coveted crown of MasterChef will be given to whomever can best please the judges and keep their head about them in the heat of the kitchen.

Another American reality based show on the TV? Well why not as they are all cash cows for the networks that produce them. This time around we can observe the ultra wealthy Paris Hilton as she goes about her "normal" every day affairs. Constantly hounded by the paparazzi who follow her every movement, Paris Hilton must find ways to avoid them when ever possible. Paris Hilton has been successful in her primary role in life; that being as a wealthy socialite who does not need to do anything unless she wants to. Her reality show has been compared with "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" as being light yet intriguing fluff that some find amusing. The TV program takes us along as Paris and Brooke travel to Las Vegas, Spain, or Cabo for some drama and or romance.

Those petite girls only seems to be tender and sweet, but deep inside their souls look more like alligators ready to eat each other in order to get a best role. However, even in this harsh world of pure competition is the place for glimpse of love. This is a story of dance-themed reality docu-drama Breaking Pointe, a new CW series featuring seven ballet stars in their everyday life and job. Christiana Bennett, is the probably oldest main character in Breaking Pointe, she is 32 and now she is at the top of her ballet career, but strong competition not allowing her to bask in the rays of glory. She is very aware of young and hungry ballerinas starving for her place. Beckanne Sisk is right that kind of young and hungry ballerina, she is extremely talented, and in her 19 she's made the brilliant dance career, most of twentysomething dancers only have to dream of. Beckanne has a friend Katie Martin, less talented by awesome girl who admires Beckanne, though in some weird way. Another character is Ronald Tilton, with whom Katie is dating. He is a dancer too, and it's hard to say what Katie and Ronald hold in the first place: ballet or relationships. Another dancing couple is Rex Tilton and Allison DeBona. It seems like Rex is totally in love with Allison, but it's clear that Allison prefers her ballet career instead of their relationships. Such a stratagem of relationships dramatically showcased in Breaking Pointe makes these TV show somewhat like The Hills, but more concerned about real problems of really talented, not only pretty, people.

America's Got Talent TV Show is a hit reality talent competition that's out to make dreams come true for superstar-hopefuls. Season after season, auditions are held in key cities across the U.S. to filter the good from the not-so-good American talents. The better ones make it in front of judge's deliberations and viewer voting. Ultimately, the most talented of them all wins a million-dollar cash prize.
