When single dad Benjamin Mee decides to purchase a zoo and then move his whole family there to live he thinks he's fulfilling a lifelong dream. The scene is Dartmoor's Zoological Park, complete with some 200 animals that are not only exotic but about to be destroyed because of the expense involved in caring for them.
