Irma Vep is a movie that was released in 1996. It was written and directed by Olivier Assayas and starred Hong Kong actress Maggie Cheung, who played a fictionalized version of herself. The film is a comedy-drama about the struggles of a French film director, played by Jean-Pierre Léaud, as he attempts to remake the classic silent film serial Les Vampires from 1915-1916. The movie takes a unique perspective, largely through the eyes of a foreigner, Cheung, and also examines the state of the French film industry.

Seriously speaking, Jason Reitman, has enough tugged nerve gender theme in "Juno", this time surpassed himself by directing really perfect movie. Scene gears, rocker motivations, the plot of the finest springs driven home so accurately that the viewer does not need anything over the puzzle: put the golden key - and it works. Satyrs dance in a circle and the toy Boeings fluttering at the Stars and Stripes canopy and even death with a scythe appears in precisely metered time with leaves of a leaf. There is nothing do not subtract or add. The archetypal theme of catching genders by the gravity forces ingeniously rhymed with the theme of aviation and the notion of travel. In turn, the ancient problem deftly woven into the realities of today's America, living beyond their means and are losing their jobs - also return from heaven to earth, relevant to the rest of the world too.

The Back-Up Plan is not so much a romantic comedy at background of pregnancy as a comedy about pregnancy, burdened by violent romanticism of the early phase of love: you become stupid get fat and jump in panic skiping around a handsome prince on a white horse. An advantage of movie probably is something that is not here: not a single moment when the viewer a shame that it looks something like this. After the expected, but still funny finale you can get a kinder look at the world.

Released in 2012, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days covers the events depicted in third and fourth books of Jeff Kinney: The Last Straw and Dog Days. The last one "realistic fiction" novel got more attention from Wallace Wolodarsky who wrote a screenplay for the movie, and this fact is noticeably reflected in the film's plot. The storyline begins with Greg Heffley and Rowley Jefferson are going to the country club for their summer vacations where due to the unfortunate sequence of developments both of them got into the troubles. Bleak outlook of spending the summer in vain efforts to make some money is rising at the horizon with more and more of clarity. That makes the movie very similar to previous two: Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010) and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (2011) – the hopeless children are showcased as losers trying to do their best. Nevertheless, the play of the cast is outstanding as usual and while watching this sequel you distinctively understand why these seven actor and actress (Zachary Gordon, Karan Brar, Robert Capron, Laine MacNeil, Connor & Owen Fielding and Dalila Bela were nominated the Young Artist Award and some of them ( we mean Laine MacNeil) even won it. By the way, Zachary Gordon's career is moving quite fast, which is led him to the lead role in the 2012 movie Norm of the North, where he plays main protagonist, Norm.

The Stellar Cast of The Big Wedding needs to be written in capitals. See yourself: Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton, Katherine Heigl, Amanda Seyfried, Topher Grace, Robin Williams. They will not agree to act in bad film for sure, even for big monies (but how knows?). However it does not mean that Justin Zackham's The Big Wedding will take a honorable place in line alongside with The Matrix, Avatar and Titanic, but let us ensure you the movie is worth watching. A moderately twisted and indefinitely poignant plot tells us a story of family that unites for wedding and the problem is that mother and father of their adopted wedding child are not a married couple for a very long time. Faced to unexpected arrival of their son's biological mother they try to fake their relationships pretending of lovely and happy married couple to total amusement of their guests. But if you dare to believe that this "pretending" is most difficult task for them to complete - you are mistaken. There is much more infeasible mission: not to kill each other in the process…

"The Kid" is a silent film from 1921, written, directed, produced and starring Charlie Chaplin. The film tells the story of a single mother who abandons her newborn child, which is later discovered by Chaplin's character, the Tramp. He decides to take care of the baby, raising him as his own son. When the child is around five years old, the mother returns and tries to reclaim her son, but the Tramp fights to keep the child in his care.
