Nicholas Cage proves his special gift for keeping the paychecks coming, teaming up with the director of My Bloody Valentine for Drive Angry 3D, due in theaters early in February, 2011. The promotional materials seem a little ambivalent or ambiguous about the film's supernatural element: Cage supposedly has escaped from Hell to avenge his daughter's murder and rescue his infant grand-daughter from sacrifice at the hands of a devil-worshipping cult. Of course, "The Accountant," one of Satan's executive demons, pursues Cage as he drives angrily across a hostile landscape in hot pursuit of bad guys and redemption. Many of the synopses omit the demonic content, perhaps because it has very little impact on the characters, situations, or plot. Three classic American muscle cars actually star in Drive Angry 3D, exuding at least as much sex appeal as Charlotte Ross, who delivers a soon-to-be-legendary sex-and-violence vignette between Cage's angry driving sequences. What's not to love about a 1964 Buick Riviera, a 1969 Dodge Charger, and a 1971 Chevy Malibu all muscled-up and chromed for the occasion? Regardless of critics' and audiences' reaction to Drive Angry 3D, film historians may use the film as compelling evidence in support of their argument 3D definitely makes a film's imagery more vivid but does not automatically improve its content or redeem it as a work of art.

A new 3D fantasy film, Wrath of the Titans is a sequel to a huge hit titled Clash of the Titans and the central players are back for more action! Perseus (Sam Worthington from Avatar, Terminator Salvation) is found trying to live peacefully in a fishing village. He and his ten year old son Helius live together and he only wishes for a quiet and calm existence. The gods and titans have other plans however and as they fight and rage among themselves seeking supremacy, Perseus can't keep from getting involved to help rescue the elusive Zeus (Liam Neeson of Taken, The A-Team). With the intent of creating hell on Earth, the Titans must be overthrown to save mankind.ook for plenty of action packed fighting just as in the first film and enjoy the improved picture through great 3D quality filming. Other characters include Ralph Fiennes portraying Hades (god of the underworld), Danny Huston plays Poseidon (god of the sea) and as a traitorous god of war, Edgar Ramirez as Ares.

"Wonder Woman 1984" is a 2020 superhero movie and the sequel to the 2017 film "Wonder Woman." The movie takes place in the 1980s and follows the titular character, played by Gal Gadot, as she faces off against two new villains: Maxwell Lord, played by Pedro Pascal, and Cheetah, played by Kristen Wiig. The film also explores Diana's personal life and relationships as she grapples with loss and the desire for a lost love.

"Godzilla" is a 2014 American monster film directed by Gareth Edwards. It is a reboot of the Godzilla franchise and the 30th film in the Godzilla franchise. The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn, and Bryan Cranston. The film follows a soldier and his wife who try to reunite with each other in San Francisco during an attack by Godzilla and other monsters called MUTOs.

It should come as no surprise that if something is financially successful it will be repeated. That is especially true with feature films. Hunter S. Thompson wrote the book The Rum Diary back in 1961 when he knew very well what the demon rum was all about. Even the screenplay writer/director, Bruce Robinson was familiar with boozing being had sworn off alcohol over six years before but went back to it just to finish the screenplay that writer's block was keeping him from completing. Chenault is played by Amber Heard (Pineapple Express, Zombieland) and is Kemp's obsession as he drinks his days away in Puerto Rico.hat makes a movie about drunks and their ability to consume volumes of fermented sugarcane (rum) interesting? It's about the lost souls that seem to have given up on life and what they leave behind, like lovers, families, and life they're afraid to face. And Thompson's writing makes it all seem to work perhaps because The Rum Diary is about his life...
