Ninja Assassin stands in the same discipline as the "300" and does not exclude the possibility that even gets to windward it by part of naturalistic massacre. The blood and meat, at least is not worse, than at the best slaughterhouses, and a number of overly dark scenes fully offset by a crazy drive in all other battles with the stabbing. The plot about love, revenge, betrayal is not limit of perfection, of course, but looks as a necessary evil. However, there are no too overextended pauses between the massacre, massacre and massacre again…

X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 is the sequel to the first solo movie from X-Men. It is a comic book love story that once again stars Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. However, this time Wolverine will head to Japan to dig into his roots and train to become a samurai warrior. While there something unexpected happens, Wolverine falls for a Japanese girl. Only she is already married and so Wolverine finds himself at odds with both her husband and her father while he tries to win her back. X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 is definitely a darker story than the first.

Revival of predation franchise, announced by Robert Rodriguez, featuring in The Losers as a writer and producer, became not so spectacular as it was waiting for. For the movie directed by Nimrod Antal we are expecting something more than running through the woods in the style of "Rambo: First Blood" and in a spirit of divination "who will die next." The maximum that allowed himself to Rodriguez is sadly growing number of corpses, a little red and green blood and uncertain statement that predators are the people themselves, supported by a quote from Hemingway. Statement by the way, in this case, is little bit controversial, since a good half of the time most of the earthlings saves and covers each other: like in the best tradition of some honest and not always exciting team play.

In this competition of two quite similar films Antoine Fuqua has some advantage expressed in brilliant actors cast. The main hero Mike Banning is played Gerard Butler. You may know him as George in Playing for Keeps or Frosty Hesson in Chasing Mavericks. Another remarkable movie Gerard Butler starred at is Coriolanus. Some of us may remember 300 where Gerard Butler played King Leonidas. As for President Benjamin Asher, Aaron Eckhart (Rabbit Hole, Love Happens, The Dark Knight) secured this role in 2012. Morgan Freeman also stars in the movie as Speaker Trumbull, a man behind the curtain, who took the power when the President was kidnapped.
