Being a father means accepting the responsibility involved with parenthood. Men take their job of fatherhood as seriously as women do (when entering motherhood), and they thrive on it. It's what we have been put on this earth for. But while being a great Dad is important, each man must decide how to go about accomplishing that very important virtue. Some do better than others, some fail and even drop out of the challenge. Those who are courageous enough to stick around are rewarded by seeing their child grow up to be a responsible adult, and become a parent themselves. ourageous involves four fathers who happen to be police officers. Each in a different stage of fatherhood, he must decide how best to be a parent and he learns what it means to be a great father. Presented by the Sherwood Baptist Church, and done on a tiny budget (just over one million dollars), this film is spiritual and realistic. Based on factual events this film pits a pair of young enthusiastic attorneys against the established big money of the pharmaceutical industry. When an ER nurse is accidently pricked when handling a contaminated needle, the law firm which handles personal injury claims becomes involved. Mike Weiss, who is played by Chris Evans (Street Kings, Push), is young and dedicated even though he also happens to be a drug addict works for a Houston law firm that's main specialty is handling personal injury claims. His partner Paul Danziger (Mark Kassen of Bernard and Doris, The Sasquatch Gang) who also directs Puncture also works what could be their case of a lifetime. They take on the case involving a hospital ER nurse named Vicky (Vinessa Shaw from Two Lovers, Stag Night) who accidently stuck herself with a syringe. Seems the big drug companies prevent the use of safer syringes to ward off such accidents happening. They seem willing to risk permanent and sometimes fatal results without consideration for others.ach year millions risk infection and contamination by such diseases as Hepatitis C and even HIV when accidental pricks occur. This time around there are two young lawyers who care enough to pursue it to a settlement even though it stretches their law firms business to near collapse. This even takes on international proportions because of the millions who die each year in Africa due to faulty syringes.

The American is a contemplative movie, yet unhurried and relaxed. Anton Korbeyn, who previously filmed only music videos, directed the movie ideally for the Clooney manner of playing. And that he succeeded. "Perhaps the director's fascination with photography was reflected in the "The American". The film is filled with static plans, where the sound is not important. In terms of speech: it is composed of multicolored mosaic of Italian and English, and the latter felt quite out of place, as the killer himself is an American lost somewhere in Italy in a small quiet town. Minor characters are also transmitted perfectly. There are two faces: a prostitute fallen in a true love, and a priest with a dark spot in his heart, that's a circle of acquaintances of the person cannot make friends. "The only thing that stands out from the track is the ending. During the movie could be the same hope for happy ending, or wait for the sad ending, and the result is an incomprehensible jumble. "But "The American" is an excellent movie, which in case you want to look for a second time, did not enjoy the story, or tricks with the shooting, and a serene image with an already old Clooney as the central figure. Inspired by California's Parent Trigger law in 2010, a Daniel Barnz's movie Won't Back Down is telling a story about two mothers, who are adamant in their decision to change things in downgrading school of their city. Their strong will and resoluteness to override the sequence of mediocre performance reports issued by the school year after year leads them to fierce battle with corruption and indolence prevailing behind the school officers and government officials. Two mothers, a bartender (Maggie Gyllenhaal) and a teacher Nona Alberts (Viola Davis) maybe belonging two different backgrounds, but they are very eager to fight the bureaucracy personalized in Principal Thompson and Teacher's Union President (portrayed by Holly Hunter, Grace Hanadarko from Saving Grace TV series). It seems like the mothers are going to lose everything in this unequal combat, however their good will to change things for better will bring them victory and safe education for their children, which deserve the best future.

Caroline and Jackie, directed by Adam Christian Clark showcases us a horrific scenario of one-evening dinner with unexpected quests. The movie centers on two sisters, Caroline and Jackie who seems to be the lovely siblings, but from the very first minute we are to understand that something is wrong with their relationships. First of all, Caroline unexpectedly visits Jackie at her home and invites sister and her friends to the restaurant party despite the fact that Jackie was cooking al the day to have a great dinner with her friends. As Jackie agrees to accept Caroline's invitation she learns that this improvised surprise party was arranged by Caroline to celebrate Jackie's birthday, which passed two months ago. A ridiculous dinner turns to totally boring nightmare as quests gradually immerse into sisters uneasy relations hearing Caroline jibes addressed to Jackie As everybody feels that dinner is broken they finish the dishes hastily and moves to Jackie's house. However, if you suppose that Caroline is the "bad guy" in among the siblings, it means that you dramatically underestimate Jackie's nature. And this is not the end, as the action unfolds it becomes absolutely clear that their friends, both Caroline's and Jackie's are complete ass-holes as well. It's hard to say why Adam Christian Clark so carefully and accurately filmed such a bunch of deranged characters, but nevertheless he made it masterfully.

"The Normal Heart" is a 2014 drama film directed by Ryan Murphy and based on the play of the same name by Larry Kramer. The movie is set in New York City in the 1980s, during the early days of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The story follows a group of gay activists as they struggle to raise awareness about the disease and fight for better treatment and care for those affected.
