Riddick (2013), which previously was titled as The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking is the third movie of the Riddick franchise. The first one was low budget Pitch Black, which was filmed in 2000. This film gave a start both for The Chronicles of Riddick franchise and Vin Diesel career. The movie was a "sleeper hit" grossing over US$53 million in theaters with budget less than US$23 million. The second film in the franchise, The Chronicles of Riddick was less successful in profits: it generated over US$115 million with budget around US$100 million, but met mostly positive audience feedback, although critics met it with tepid reviews. Nevertheless, the third movie is aimed to repeat the success of the first film: it has relatively low budget grossing around US$38 million. The story of the Riddick (2013) revolves around the antihero, Richard B. Riddick. He is left on the scorched planet inhabited by alien predators. When he manages to activate an alarm beacon, it attracts the attention of two spaceships. The first one carries the hordes of thugs hired to kill Riddick, while the second one is captained by the man well known to him. Uncommon intelligence and inhuman strength help Riddick to use these guests to get away from the planet, commit an act of retaliation and rescue the people of his homeworld planet Furya from mass destruction.

It has been scary enough to hear of UFO sightings around the globe. Edge of Tomorrow, perhaps known equally well by its tagline "Live, Die, Repeat" (featured on the DVD box) is a military-themed science fiction film starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. An alien race has attacked, and an inexperienced combatant, Major William Cage (Cruise) is dumped into a suicide mission. He dies within minutes, but finds himself resurrected through a time loop which forces him to relive the battle again and again (intentionally in the manner of a video game, only in real life). Each time he dies, but each time, his skill in combat and his knowledge of the enemy also increases, and he and Sergeant Rita Vrataski (Blunt) move another step closer to defeating their seemingly unbeatable foes and saving the planet. The film was widely praised by critics and audience members alike, and was particularly recognized for its success in breaking out of traditional gender roles with Emily Blunt's character.

When the biography of Abraham Lincoln, Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is found, it was discovered to be based upon secret diaries old Abe kept himself. Soon the rumors began to fly surrounding our 16th President. Henry Surges penned the bio based on some of the writings found in Abe's diaries and the story came to life. Abe learned about vampires from his father, Thomas Lincoln back when he was eleven years old and so believed them to be real. Apparently, according to Thomas Lincoln, Abe's grandfather, also named Abraham, was killed by vampires back in 1786 and that his grandmother died as a result of an infusion of vampire's blood. This was all a result of revenge over unpaid debts incurred by grandpa Thomas. This is a "tongue in cheek" movie at best and does contain some historic incidence but mostly is played as a "what if" and is fun!tarring Benjamin Walker (Flags of our Fathers, Unconscious) as Abe Lincoln in the years before the Civil War. He travels down to New Orleans on the Mississippi River by flatboat with plans to sell goods and encounters a slave auction which affects him deeply. Following a slave buyer Abe discovers the buyer to be a vampire who is buying slaves for food and not for resale. Fiction but nun the less a very fascinating look at history as it might have been!

Stardust is a 2007 romantic fantasy adventure film based on the 1999 novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman. The story is about a young man named Tristan who lives in a village near a magical wall that separates the human world from the mystical realm of Stormhold. One day, he promises to bring a falling star to his beloved, Victoria, in exchange for her hand in marriage. He crosses the wall and finds that the star is a woman named Yvaine. They embark on a journey together to bring Yvaine back to the village, but they encounter many obstacles along the way, including witches, pirates, and princes who are all after the star's magical powers.

"Terror of Mechagodzilla" is a Japanese science fiction movie that was released in 1975. The film is part of the Godzilla franchise and follows the story of Godzilla battling against Mechagodzilla, a robotic version of the iconic monster, and Titanosaurus, a newly created aquatic monster. The plot involves the villains using the monsters to take over the world, and the heroes' efforts to stop them.
