"Watchmen" is a 2009 superhero film based on the acclaimed 1986-87 comic book series of the same name by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a 2016 superhero film that was directed by Zack Snyder. The film is the second installment in the DC Extended Universe, and it follows the events of the 2013 film Man of Steel. The sixth part of the adventures of Harry Potter was filmed by David Yates, who filmed the Order of the Phoenix, too. As before, there were reductions in the source material: the books themselves, as we recall, were getting thicker from volume by volume. But the fascination it has not been affected: the love of suffering young wizards magically contrasts with the overall dark background, where there extreme fear of the meeting with Volan de Mort rules. The comic couple, Ron-Hermione amuses the audience perfectly, while their companions in misfortune, Harry and Ginny honestly work out the necessary romantic part. And yet each new movie about Potter is more horrifying, sad and fantastic than the previous one: all these options are caused by the development of the story and by unlimited technical possibilities of the modern cinema.

"Eraser: Reborn" is a new action-thriller film that serves as a reboot of the 1996 movie "Eraser". The film is directed by John Pogue, and written by Michael D. Weiss. The plot revolves around a secret agency that specializes in engineering the fake deaths of witnesses who need to disappear without a trace. The movie stars British actor Dominic Sherwood in the lead role as U.S. Marshal Mason Pollard, and features supporting actors Jacky Lai, McKinley Belcher III, and Eddie Ramos.

"Superman Returns" is a 2006 superhero film directed by Bryan Singer and stars Brandon Routh as Superman. The film is set five years after the events of "Superman II" and ignores the events of "Superman III" and "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace". Superman returns to Earth after a five-year absence to find that Lois Lane has moved on with her life and has a child. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor is plotting to create a new continent using Kryptonian technology, which would cause massive destruction to the world.

Nicholas Cage proves his special gift for keeping the paychecks coming, teaming up with the director of My Bloody Valentine for Drive Angry 3D, due in theaters early in February, 2011. The promotional materials seem a little ambivalent or ambiguous about the film's supernatural element: Cage supposedly has escaped from Hell to avenge his daughter's murder and rescue his infant grand-daughter from sacrifice at the hands of a devil-worshipping cult. Of course, "The Accountant," one of Satan's executive demons, pursues Cage as he drives angrily across a hostile landscape in hot pursuit of bad guys and redemption. Many of the synopses omit the demonic content, perhaps because it has very little impact on the characters, situations, or plot. Three classic American muscle cars actually star in Drive Angry 3D, exuding at least as much sex appeal as Charlotte Ross, who delivers a soon-to-be-legendary sex-and-violence vignette between Cage's angry driving sequences. What's not to love about a 1964 Buick Riviera, a 1969 Dodge Charger, and a 1971 Chevy Malibu all muscled-up and chromed for the occasion? Regardless of critics' and audiences' reaction to Drive Angry 3D, film historians may use the film as compelling evidence in support of their argument 3D definitely makes a film's imagery more vivid but does not automatically improve its content or redeem it as a work of art.
