The Long Kiss Goodnight is a 1996 American action thriller film directed by Renny Harlin and starring Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson. The film follows Samantha Caine, a schoolteacher suffering from amnesia, who discovers she was once a skilled assassin. As she tries to uncover her past, she teams up with a detective named Mitch Henessey to confront her former employers and prevent a terrorist attack.

The Last Airbender this is very entertaining movie in which poetry takes on flesh and spirit, and reality is being built at the height of the myth. The film is like a dream in which your dreams come true, where are the real heroes, in which good struggles with evil and the fight cannot be won easily. The words "tricks", "special effects", "computer technology" for the Shyamalan's movie pertain only to be nominal. In fact, everything you see in The Last Airbender looks like real magic. So, as movie should be. Air Nomads, Water Tribe, Earth Kingdom, and the people of Fire. Four nations were bound by fate, when the people of the Fire started a brutal war against all. A hundred years without any hope to change something in this world. The people of the Fire almost close to victory in the war. Caught between the fight and courage, young Aang realizes that he is gifted with the power to rule over the four elements, and that only he can restore the balance and peace on earth. At the first glance Hit and Run (2012) looks like Knockin' on Heaven's Door (1997) combined with Drive (2011), which is causing some negative expectations, taking into consideration the fact of how many times Knockin' on Heaven's Door was cloned, mostly in disastrous manner. But, it only at the first look, the second one will be stopped in state of total quandary by ill-fitting Bradley Cooper dreads. Bradley is hardly recognizable in Hit and Run, but it's still him playing the partner of former motorcyclist Charlie Bronson with a kind of "shady" past. The movie plot is based on quite untwisted screenplay written by Dax Shepard (who has directed film, too, and played the main protagonist), the story about mad driver who risked everything busting Witness Protection Program, for the sake of one single aim: to bring his beautiful fiancée to Los Angeles where she gets her dream job. If you are about to say something like: "what a stupid idea: to risk your life for girlfriend job?" you better just stop, take a deep breath and rethink it, maybe you'll do the same if gorgeous Kristen Bell was your girlfriend. Changed your mind, duh? Oh, yes, the Kristen and Bradley duo will definitely make you wishing to watch this movie. But let's go back to the plot: while driving to LA, the couple will encounter lots of awkward adventurous including: ex-gang mobs chasing Charlie, his partner seeking buried treasures from criminal past, and, of course cops sitting on their tails.

Irish author Jonathan Swift first published Gulliver's Travels in 1726, and it became an immediate sensation. Since then, Gulliver's Travels never has gone out-of-print, and its twenty-first century sales remain nearly as robust as they were in the sixteenth. Universally acknowledged as a classic of British literature, Swift's wonderwork scathingly satirizes human nature and parodies "travellers' tales." Not surprising, then, Hollywood has attempted to bring Gulliver's story to life on film in every decade since the medium was invented. Typically, the special effects have failed to keep pace with Swift's imagination. In the story's latest reprise, a slightly modernized version, the special effects are up to the challenge, but the question emerges, "Is Jack Black up to it?" Black has disappointed fans with his last couple of ventures, but critics say he looks "at ease" as he goes for "big" laughs in the land of the Lilliputians. The producers and director have built-in a few features to give Black a healthy bounce: Updating the story, they show Gulliver as a contemporary mailroom guy who finally catches a break, winning a travel-writing assignment in the Bermuda Triangle. 3D has gotta help the contrast between big Gulliver and little Lilliputians, and an all-star supporting cast is expected to bring out the best of Black's comic gifts.

In a dark times of medieval China, when small feudal villages were faced the risk of plundering and burning to ashes by any band swindlers, a reckless blacksmith decides to defend his fellow villagers from attacking sons of gun. RZA, who is in charge of The Man with the Iron Fists, just for your interest – is a director, producer, writer and a leading role actor of the movie (like four in one), and of course he plays the Blacksmith, who is leading the villagers to the convincing and final victory of justice. The way he does it is an extraordinary one: he transforms the power of iron weapons, such as swords, spears and shields, in the power of living human body, his body, making him unbeatable. The authorship of this weird idea belongs to RZA (who may doubt?) and there are some rumors the nurtured this idea from 2005 year. Distributed by Universal Pictures, The Man with the Iron Fists despite its meager budget of $20 millions features quite a stellar cast: besides the abovementioned RZA, the movie starring: Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu, Jamie Chung, RZA, Dave Bautista, Pam Grier, Cung Le, Rick Yune, Osric Chau, Zhu Zhu, Chia Hui Liu, Daniel Wu, Celina Jade, Byron Mann, Dennis Chan (it's more likely that you know everyone from this list, may be exempt those who have Chinese surnames).

The original novel was titled The Feather Men, penned by Sir Ranulph Fiennes back in 1991. This action adventure is based on the true story of Britain's Special Air Service Elite member Danny Bryce who is played by Jason Statham (The Mechanic, Crank: High Voltage). When the recently retired Danny learns his mentor, a guy named Hunter, has been taken hostage he must rescue him and the action begins. Using all his special ops skills he finds it necessary to kill three of the assassins sent for him by their leader, Spike, and must find and take out the one who holds his friend Hunter who is capably played by Robert DeNiro (Raging Bull, Taxi Driver). pike, who is the cunning leader is played by Clive Owen from Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Inside Man. Other cast members in this action packed film include Yvonne Strahovski (I Love You Too, The Canyon) as Anne and Dominic Purcell who plays Davies (Straw Dogs, TV series Prison Break). Well written and acted, Killer Elite is an action packed ride that was filmed in Australia.
