So… Meet Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), Captain Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), Angelica (Penelope Cruz), and Blackbeard (Ian McShane) in their dizzying and exciting adventure: which one of them will be able to find the mystical Fountain of Youth first and stay alive? Who Captain Jack Sparrow has to fear more: his nemesis Captain Barbossa, or women from the past? Sucker Punch movie makes five girls the somewhat reluctant heroines of an epic action fantasy drawn from the main character's imagination. Baby-Doll has been wrongly confined in a mental institution, but she uses her powers of mind to escape her grim circumstances. When her dreams and fantasies no longer console her, Baby-Doll persuades four other girls to join in her attempt to escape captivity. Emily Browning stars as Baby-Doll; Jena Malone, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, and Abbie Cornish complete the well-chosen ensemble cast. The five of them leave no doubt about the meaning of "girl power.""Director Zack Snyder describes Sucker Punch as "Alice in Wonderland with machine guns." In the course of their adventures, the girls engage everything from samurais to serpents in fantastic warfare, drawing from a robust virtual arsenal. The five sisters-in-arms face difficult choices about how much feel willing to sacrifice in order to stay alive. Wiseman, however, gives sage guidance, always suggesting that if the girls survive, their journey will set them free. Co-director Deborah Snyder brings the flight of fantasy back down to earth, saying, "In the end, it's about this girl's survival and what she needs to do to be able to cope."

Starting defiantly with an amateur stamp from the scene of creative clutter in the apartment of the protagonist, "Repo Men", however, are firmly stitched comic fighter, and quite wild, to become a cult movie. Miguel Sapochnik, plays the fool with all his might, but lively intelligence is difficult to conceal. Very soon, pulsating on the screen cyberpunk shows us a director, who with the same warmth loves "RoboCop," Tarkovsky and Pak Chan Wook. Climactic confrontation between good and evil is almost literally copied from the famous scene with the hammer of the "Oldboy"; with the only difference Sapochnik has money for various other small tools, but apparently lacks the skill neither to film it with one big plan nor to cut massacre of hundreds of different plans. It's disappointing, but not disastrous: in the end, the "Repo Men" has lots of other goods.

Irish author Jonathan Swift first published Gulliver's Travels in 1726, and it became an immediate sensation. Since then, Gulliver's Travels never has gone out-of-print, and its twenty-first century sales remain nearly as robust as they were in the sixteenth. Universally acknowledged as a classic of British literature, Swift's wonderwork scathingly satirizes human nature and parodies "travellers' tales." Not surprising, then, Hollywood has attempted to bring Gulliver's story to life on film in every decade since the medium was invented. Typically, the special effects have failed to keep pace with Swift's imagination. In the story's latest reprise, a slightly modernized version, the special effects are up to the challenge, but the question emerges, "Is Jack Black up to it?" Black has disappointed fans with his last couple of ventures, but critics say he looks "at ease" as he goes for "big" laughs in the land of the Lilliputians. The producers and director have built-in a few features to give Black a healthy bounce: Updating the story, they show Gulliver as a contemporary mailroom guy who finally catches a break, winning a travel-writing assignment in the Bermuda Triangle. 3D has gotta help the contrast between big Gulliver and little Lilliputians, and an all-star supporting cast is expected to bring out the best of Black's comic gifts.

"Demolition Man" is a 1993 science fiction action film directed by Marco Brambilla, starring Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, and Sandra Bullock. The movie is set in a futuristic version of Los Angeles in 2032, where crime has been virtually eliminated, and the police force relies on pacifism and rehabilitation instead of violence. However, when a dangerous criminal named Simon Phoenix escapes from his prison and wreaks havoc on the city, the only cop who can stop him is John Spartan, a legendary cop who has been cryogenically frozen for over 30 years.

"Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" is a 2009 action film based on the popular video game franchise, Street Fighter. The movie follows Chun-Li, a skilled martial artist who seeks revenge against the evil Bison, the leader of an organized crime syndicate known as Shadaloo. Along the way, she teams up with other fighters and allies to take down Bison and his minions.
