According to the fairy tale story there was once a race of giants who ruled the earth. Now the young farmhand Jack finds he is responsible for opening a gateway that allowed the giants to return and reclaim the land they lost centuries ago. Jack, who now becomes the Giant Killer, is now fighting for the kingdom, people, and also the life of a kidnapped princess. Now Jack will become an unwilling legend when he defies the giants he only thought existed in a legendary story. Farm boy Jack is played by Nicholas Hoult (About A Boy, XMen: First Class), Eleanor Tomlinson (Alice in Wonderland) is Isabelle the princess, Stanley Tucci (Shall We Dance?, Julie & Julia) is Lord Roderick, the King's advisor. Ian McShane (Kings, Pillars of the Earth) is King Brahmwell, father of the princess who hates to see his royal daughter falling for the lowly farm boy. In this competition of two quite similar films Antoine Fuqua has some advantage expressed in brilliant actors cast. The main hero Mike Banning is played Gerard Butler. You may know him as George in Playing for Keeps or Frosty Hesson in Chasing Mavericks. Another remarkable movie Gerard Butler starred at is Coriolanus. Morgan Freeman also stars in the movie as Speaker Trumbull, a man behind the curtain, who took the power when the President was kidnapped.

Exodus: Gods and Kings, follows Moses (Christian Bale) as he rises to stand against the Pharaoh Ramesses II (Joel Edgerton). Other stars include Sigourney Weaver, Ben Kingsley, Aaron Paul, and John Tuturro. Moses frees the slaves and parts the Red Sea so that they can cross. The plot will be familiar to anyone who has seen Cecil B. DeMille's classic film The Ten Commandments. Exodus: Gods and Kings received mixed reviews from critics, but was lauded for its visual spectacle and epic tone and sweep. The actors in the film were also praised for their stirring emotional performances. For those who enjoy Bibles stories transported to the big screen, Exodus: Gods and Kings is an entertaining and epic retelling of a classic tale.

Straight out of the DC Comics we find that Batman is back for yet another installment of the series brought to us by Christopher Nolan, writer, producer, as well as director. This is the third and supposedly last in the series from Nolan. But Batman has been around a long long time and who can say it will ever end?his film concludes the story that began with Batman Begins followed up with The Dark Knight and finally The Dark Knight Rises. And they will tell us the villain will not be either the Riddler or Mr. Freeze. Also starring are Sir Michael Caine (Inception, Alfie) as Alfred Pennyworth Bruce Wayne's advisor and butler, Gary Oldman (Red Riding Hood, The Book of Eli) as Gotham City Commissioner of Police James Gordon. Included in the cast are Anne Hathaway and Morgan Freeman.

Starting defiantly with an amateur stamp from the scene of creative clutter in the apartment of the protagonist, "Repo Men", however, are firmly stitched comic fighter, and quite wild, to become a cult movie. Miguel Sapochnik, plays the fool with all his might, but lively intelligence is difficult to conceal. Very soon, pulsating on the screen cyberpunk shows us a director, who with the same warmth loves "RoboCop," Tarkovsky and Pak Chan Wook. Climactic confrontation between good and evil is almost literally copied from the famous scene with the hammer of the "Oldboy"; with the only difference Sapochnik has money for various other small tools, but apparently lacks the skill neither to film it with one big plan nor to cut massacre of hundreds of different plans. It's disappointing, but not disastrous: in the end, the "Repo Men" has lots of other goods.
