When an unexpected enemy threatens global security and safety Fury decides to call on a team of superheroes to save the world. Among his choices are Iron Man Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey, Jr. from Iron Man, Tropic Thunder), the reclusive billionaire industrialist who invents a mechanical suit of armor. Also summoned are Captain America Steve Rogers (played by Chris Evans from Captain America: The First Avenger) who's experiments with serums led to his super human physicality, and Dr. Bruce Banner who is the Hulk. Played by Mark Ruffalo from Shutter Island, The Kids Are All Right) the Hulk is somewhat of a "loose cannon" making the other team members leery of his participation. Rounding out the dream team of Avengers is Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth from 2009's Star Trek and A Perfect Getaway) Norse's God of Thunder.
