One of the major delights of the 2012 movie is an epic picture of the destruction of the solid earth, when thousands of people scattered in panic from the falling down of skyscrapers, where the oceans come from the coast, and lava avalanches sweep out the cities and countries. In 2012, the apocalypse comes at its best; Emmerich tried hard to give a picture of the destruction of the giant swing, and the fact he succeeded. The visual side of the movie is flawless. But the dramatic side sometimes fails in the illogic, strained and unnecessary confusion. Too complicated scenario building only distract from the excellent graphic component that unfolds in the 2012.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is a 2016 fantasy film directed by David Yates and written by J.K. Rowling. The movie takes place in the wizarding world of Harry Potter but is set 70 years before the events of the original series. The story follows Newt Scamander, a magizoologist, and his adventures in New York City during the 1920s. He arrives in the city with a suitcase full of magical creatures, but when some of them escape, chaos ensues. Newt must navigate the dangers of the city and the threat of exposure to the non-magical population, all while trying to recapture his escaped creatures.

If Insidious is anything like their previous effort (the SAW series) it will be a tremendous hit at the box office. The writer/director team of James Wan and Leigh Whannell definitely know how to scare the "bejesus" out of us. A happy couple Josh and Renai, played by Patrick Wilson (Watchmen) and Rose Byrne (Get Him to the Greek) think their lives are just about perfect. Three kids and a nice home make for a serene lifestyle until some unruly dark spirited ghosts begin tormenting them. Dalton, their son, is knocked out and ends up in a coma. Is his weak state drawing the scary entities or is it the house? After moving they find that the house may not have been the culprit of their fears."Excellent timing and the addition of some wry humor make this movie a cut above the normal "horror" flick and the actors are really good. For a small (one million dollar) budget, this movie stands a cut above the rest and will thoroughly entertain."

Sixty years have passed since the first attack of aliens. For a long time our planet were nothing more but place of disastrous war between earthlings and extraterrestrial form of live named Scavs. We've won the war, but Earth was totally devastated turned into hostile yet dangerous desert. All the achievements of our civilization were ruined and recently prosperous megacities now forming whimsical landscapes with rivers running down the wide ex-avenues and waterfalls rushing down from the skyscrapers. In that hostile environment only artificial drones are alive to protect the Earth from possible aliens' comebacks. Drones and a couple dozens of people maintaining them are only the Earth population now, while the mission aimed to extract all the valuable resources left is in progress. Jack Harper is one of the "lucky ones" that has been left on Earth to secure the mission. His duty to repair drones and he is doing that job for many years. His only hobby is to read "old books" that has been written before the alien invasion. Jack's duty was about to be completed when he witnesses a starship crash and hurries to rescue possible survivors. He manages to save the life of beautiful woman, Julia, who seems to be familiar with him. However Jack doesn't know her and rests assured the he never met her. This event turns the known world of Jack Harper inside out. It seems like he was wrong about his purpose on the Earth. Soon after he meets the real population of the planet, a Resistance, and its leader Malcolm Beech. Oblivion was filmed by Universal Studios after the Radical Comics graphic novel of the same name. The movie stars Tom Cruise (Mission Imposible franchise, Van Helsing, All You Need Is Kill) as Jack Harper and Olga Kurylenko (La terre outragée, James Bond: Quantum of Solace, Max Payne) as Julia, while resistance leader is portrayed by Morgan Freeman (Now You See Me, Olympus Has Fallen, The Dark Knight Rises).

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is the 2014 conclusion to Peter Jackson's Hobbit film series, preceded by The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug in 2013, and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in 2012. If nothing else, "Tron: Legacy" is another masterpiece of Disney marketing. Released during the 2010 holiday season, "Tron: Legacy" comes with video game sold separately, and Academy Award winner built-in. Jeff Bridges stars as Kevin Flynn, video-game developer who mysteriously disappeared twenty years ago. The studio's logline reads, "An ambitious hacker transports himself into cyberspace to pull off the ultimate hack." Translation: Garrett Hedlund plays Sam Flynn who jumps into his father's video game universe to rescue him. Identifying with the movie's heroes, avid gamers report, "They created this kind of seamless line between the game and the movie."""Tron: Legacy" is visually stunning. Recent advances in CGI enable the characters, weapons, and landscape to radiate off the screen and envelope the audience. The battles live up to their "epic" billing. Just as importantly, Olivia Wilde brilliantly plays fearless warrior Quorra, who leads dad and kid on their perilous journey across the world dad created. Beau Garrett, a frequent Olivia Wilde screen partner, plays Siren Jem, the perfect foil to Quorra.
