Lucy is a 2014 action-thriller film directed by Luc Besson and starring Scarlett Johansson as the titular character. James Franco (Pineapple Express, 127 Hours) plays a scientist who uses apes to attempt finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease and when problems arise with one of his apes called Caesar, he simply takes the ape home with him to keep the evil lab doctors from interfering.
