"Belfast" is a drama film directed by Kenneth Branagh. The story is set in 1969 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and is told from the perspective of a young boy named Buddy. Buddy's family is caught up in the tensions and violence of the Troubles, which were a period of conflict between Irish nationalists and unionists.

There are many psychological ailments that humans find themselves having difficulty with. Gambling, alcohol, drugs, and even sex can be problems for those who find them to be too much to overcome when they get out of hand and beyond their control. Shame is about sexual addiction and the problems that ensue when the lack of control makes it difficult to control how and when. Called sexually raw, Shame depicts a character named Brandon as a man who has problems. Seems he masturbates compulsively and stalks victims he chooses in the subway system of New York. This 30 something otherwise normal young man has a social problem that he claims to have no control over but it will ruin him and his life if he can't get help. irector Steve McQueen (no not that McQueen) put together a brilliant story that is far more common than believed. Michael Fassbender (Inglorious Basterds, Murphy's Law) is Brandon, Carey Mulligan (The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard, Dr. Who) is Sissy who is actually Brandon's sister who reappears in his life uninvited, and David is played by James Badge Dale formerly seen on The Black Donnellys and the TV mini series The Pacific.

Even Johnny Depp could not escape of being vampire in this Tim Burton's remake of TV show which was popular in sixties. he story of Dark Shadows begins in 1752 where the preamble of the movie takes place. Joshua and Naomi Collins their son Barnabas travels from Liverpool to America in the pursuit to find a new better life, but the family curse overtakes them even on the boat. After the twenty years Barnabas becomes reach and famous in the small city of Collinsport and the master of Collinwood Manor. Acting like some sort of local Casanova he breaks the heart of one witch, Angelique Bouchard. There were two issues with this case: the first, she was the real witch and, and the second, it was a fatal mistake of Barnabas. Her reaction was lightning fast and literally inescapable: she turns him in the vampire and buries him for greater certainty. But after 200 years due to some accident he frees from the grave and tries to return to a normal life. But a normal life does not exist in 1972, anymore. Barnabas realizes it after visiting the ruins of former Collinwood Manor, now occupied by his dysfunctional descendants. There the story of Dark Shadows begins.

Tom Vaughn's Extraordinary Measures should be considered as noteworthy movie primarily because the fact that it is based on the true story of the family of Dr. Crowley and Stonehill. This drama, about a struggle for the lives of children affected by Pompe disease, where the parents are going through the overflowing emotions, and children calls for sympathy and empathy. But you would not say the same about the film which looks like its filmed clumsy and simple, though Tom Vaughan shoots another comedy with Ashton Kutcher in the lead role, which consists of a set of fragments. If Nicolas Cage was invited, there would be a lump in coming to throat may be in one episode. But here even Fraser is not smiling and still seems to be something to rejoice. Eileen Crowley (Keri Russell) is feeling like it's not her children are sick, even when she worries about them, it all looks like so unnatural. As for Dr. Stonehill (played by Harrison Ford), the acting here is on the high altitude…

Caroline and Jackie, directed by Adam Christian Clark showcases us a horrific scenario of one-evening dinner with unexpected quests. The movie centers on two sisters, Caroline and Jackie who seems to be the lovely siblings, but from the very first minute we are to understand that something is wrong with their relationships. First of all, Caroline unexpectedly visits Jackie at her home and invites sister and her friends to the restaurant party despite the fact that Jackie was cooking al the day to have a great dinner with her friends. As Jackie agrees to accept Caroline's invitation she learns that this improvised surprise party was arranged by Caroline to celebrate Jackie's birthday, which passed two months ago. A ridiculous dinner turns to totally boring nightmare as quests gradually immerse into sisters uneasy relations hearing Caroline jibes addressed to Jackie As everybody feels that dinner is broken they finish the dishes hastily and moves to Jackie's house. However, if you suppose that Caroline is the "bad guy" in among the siblings, it means that you dramatically underestimate Jackie's nature. And this is not the end, as the action unfolds it becomes absolutely clear that their friends, both Caroline's and Jackie's are complete ass-holes as well. It's hard to say why Adam Christian Clark so carefully and accurately filmed such a bunch of deranged characters, but nevertheless he made it masterfully.

"The Normal Heart" is a 2014 drama film directed by Ryan Murphy and based on the play of the same name by Larry Kramer. The movie is set in New York City in the 1980s, during the early days of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The story follows a group of gay activists as they struggle to raise awareness about the disease and fight for better treatment and care for those affected.
