Caroline and Jackie, directed by Adam Christian Clark showcases us a horrific scenario of one-evening dinner with unexpected quests. The movie centers on two sisters, Caroline and Jackie who seems to be the lovely siblings, but from the very first minute we are to understand that something is wrong with their relationships. First of all, Caroline unexpectedly visits Jackie at her home and invites sister and her friends to the restaurant party despite the fact that Jackie was cooking al the day to have a great dinner with her friends. As Jackie agrees to accept Caroline's invitation she learns that this improvised surprise party was arranged by Caroline to celebrate Jackie's birthday, which passed two months ago. A ridiculous dinner turns to totally boring nightmare as quests gradually immerse into sisters uneasy relations hearing Caroline jibes addressed to Jackie As everybody feels that dinner is broken they finish the dishes hastily and moves to Jackie's house. However, if you suppose that Caroline is the "bad guy" in among the siblings, it means that you dramatically underestimate Jackie's nature. And this is not the end, as the action unfolds it becomes absolutely clear that their friends, both Caroline's and Jackie's are complete ass-holes as well. It's hard to say why Adam Christian Clark so carefully and accurately filmed such a bunch of deranged characters, but nevertheless he made it masterfully.

He also discovers he needs more of the drug to avoid side effects. Another problem crops up when he finds there are shady hitmen who are after him for the drug. As he avoids being assassinated he meets up with a business tycoon (Robert De Niro) who sees Eddie as a potential source of ready and abundant cash. Back when World War I was about to begin so was an odd friendship between Psychiatrist Sigmund Freud and a young fledgling shrink, Carl Jung. There is also a beautiful woman that creates conflicts between the two men and also the fact that psychoanalysis is in its formative years. This combination makes for some rather dangerous methods of treating mental patients and those who can't quite cope with society. Canadian director David Cronenberg (The Brood, Scanners) may be somewhat out of his element with this story because it's more talky than his usual action packed films. Starring Viggo Mortensen (The Lord of the Rings series) as Freud, Michael Fassbender (Inglorious Basterds, Fish Tank) as Jung, and Keira Knightley (Atonement, Pirates of the Caribbean series) as the beautiful Sabina Spielrein, the woman who comes between Jung and Freud. She eventually became a successful therapist in her own right. Considered a historical film, A Dangerous Method deals with what happened back when psychotherapy was in its infancy and how psychiatrists learned how to best help those with mental problems.

Making it into somewhat of a Hatfields vs the McCoys story told Albanian style is The Forgiveness of Blood. Territorial rights along with family honor are long traditions of many nations and in this film we find that conflicts over land owned by families for generations never seem to become resolved, resulting in violence and a blood feud may be the result. Joshua Marston and Albanian Andamion Murataj weave a tale that is absorbing and honest, comparing old fashioned laws and rules against the younger generation's more modern approach to those age old traditions.ark, played by Refet Abazi (The Berlin Project) is a bread delivery man who uses a horse and cart on his daily route. When he is killed because he trespasses on land as he travels his daily route, the daughter Rudina, played by newcomer Sindi Lacej, must set aside her high school life and take over the route which is the family livelihood. An age old tale of property dispute and family traditions, The Forgiveness of Blood is an absorbing story of old verses new ways of life in Albania.

The Tourist movie is a thriller starring Johnny Depp as Frank Taylor, an American tourist and Angelina Jolie as Elise Ward, an English woman with a colourful past. Frank meets Elise while on vacation in Italy trying to mend his wounded heart and quickly tries to pursue a relationship with her. Only Elise has other motives for her supposed accidental meeting with Frank, but will Frank learn the truth before he gets in too deep or will it be too late. The Tourist movie will give you insight into how people responded when they learn they are being played like pieces on a game board.
