Edward Scissorhands is a 1990 American romantic dark fantasy film directed by Tim Burton. The film stars Johnny Depp as Edward, a gentle and kind-hearted man with scissors for hands who is taken in by a suburban family after being discovered living alone in a Gothic castle. The film follows Edward as he attempts to adapt to his new surroundings and form relationships with the people around him.

"Invasion of Astro-Monster" is a Japanese science fiction movie that was released in 1965. The film is part of the Godzilla franchise and follows the story of two astronauts who travel to a distant planet called Planet X, where they discover that the planet is being attacked by a monster called King Ghidorah. The aliens of Planet X offer to lend Earth Godzilla and Rodan to help defeat King Ghidorah, but their motives may not be entirely pure.

There he encounters leaders Tars Tarkas as well as Princess Dejah Thoris as he attempts to save the people of Barsoom. Based on the novel titled A Princess of Mars, John Carter was first published as a serial in magazines back in 1912 before becoming a novel. The lead character, Carter, is a veteran of the Civil War in America and while on Mars he encounters huge green barbarians who are twelve feet tall with six limbs and long dangerous tusks. Sixty years have passed since the first attack of aliens. He manages to save the life of beautiful woman, Julia, who seems to be familiar with him. However Jack doesn't know her and rests assured the he never met her. This event turns the known world of Jack Harper inside out. It seems like he was wrong about his purpose on the Earth. Soon after he meets the real population of the planet, a Resistance, and its leader Malcolm Beech. Oblivion was filmed by Universal Studios after the Radical Comics graphic novel of the same name. The movie stars Tom Cruise (Mission Imposible franchise, Van Helsing, All You Need Is Kill) as Jack Harper and Olga Kurylenko (La terre outragée, James Bond: Quantum of Solace, Max Payne) as Julia, while resistance leader is portrayed by Morgan Freeman (Now You See Me, Olympus Has Fallen, The Dark Knight Rises).
