"Mothra vs. Godzilla" is a Japanese monster movie that was released in 1964. X-Men: First Class documents their nasty break-up. They could not be "just friends.""Although the men allegedly star in X-Men: First Class, the so-called "supporting actresses" threaten to steal the show. January Jones of "Madmen" fame plays Emma Frost, villainesse supreme, co-conspirator with Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, criminal mastermind. More notably, Jennifer Lawrence—yes that Jennifer Lawrence, low-keyed "It Girl" from Winter's Bone and the Oscars' red carpet—plays Mystique, aka Raven Darkholme, shape-shifting mutant. By film's end, girl power may trump super-powers.

It is sometime in the near future and the sport of boxing is more popular than ever. When boxer Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman of Wolverine and X-Men movie fame) loses out on his opportunity to become the Champion when the sport is taken over by robots, he decides to build one that can be a contender. With his son's help they work out a plan to make the best high-tech boxing robot. Kenton's son Max (Dakota Goyo of Thor and Resurrecting the Champ) is young and eager to help the father he has been estranged from. his film is a wild action packed ride that pits eight foot tall two thousand pound steel pugilists against each other. Taking all the human emotion out of the sport, we find robots can really box but who cares which one wins now? The stakes are high for Charlie Kenton and his son as they piece together scrap metal and low end bots to create the next great contender. Also starring Evangeline Lilly, Karl Yune, and James Rebhorn.

Clash of the Titans continues the tradition of nostalgic blockbusters. It tries in its own way to retell almost all the major mythical conflict of the ancient world. Sam Worthington as the notorious 3D, are only a backdrops to a deliberately constructed scenes. Most of the movie time spent on speeches in the best spirit of "Harry Potter", the rest is CGI scenes in the best traditions of the 90th. The only thing that "Clash of the Titans" is completely devoid of taste, everything in it is subject to a simplification. In general, it is the perfect movie for the big screen, the viewer of any age and almost any audience. True, it is doubtful that there will be people able to watch it twice.

It's a third appearance of Chris Hemsworth as mighty Thor after Kenneth Branagh's Thor filmed in 2011 and Joss Whedon's The Avengers filmed in 2012. And there are no forces neither in Asgard nor on Earth to withstand them. Once again the destiny of the whole world is in Thor's hands. Once again he has to come back to Earth and fight with Malekith. When he meets his passion, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), his quest becomes more complicated – to rescue his love interest and save both Earth and Asgard. As for ensemble cast it's quite clear that previous movies successes inspired producers to inflate the budget significantly, besides the actors which were starring in the first movie Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Ray Stevenson, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins there some new Hollywood stars: Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who, Heroes, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (The Thing, Killer Elite, Faster), Zachary Levi (Stuntmen, Shades of Ray), and Tadanobu Asano (Battleship, 47 Ronin).

Kong: Skull Island is a 2017 American monster film directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. The movie is a reboot of the King Kong franchise and stars an ensemble cast, including Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John C. Reilly, and John Goodman.
