A prehistoric man, Grug, and his ferocious family awake, when an earthquake strikes. All they have to do is to run out of their comfortable cave-apartments and accept their fate of "caveless" wanderers traveling uncharted and fantastical world. As they travel, a prehistoric genius meets them on their way. His name – Guy, and he tries to use his brain, not strength, in contrast as Grug does. This unusual, as per those times, behavior makes him derelict in eyes of contemporaries. Especially in the eyes of Crug, whose oldest daughter, Eep, seems to be fallen in love with Guy. This inappropriate order of things: a sudden earthquake, a crazy nerd, and unexpected maturing of the daughter makes Crug's world being ruining. However, the rest of his family is less worried of these events: Ugga, Grug's wife; Thunk, their fat but kind son; and Gran Grug's mother-in-law and his main enemy in this world. In his desperation, Ralph decides to break up with the arcade and escapes thru the power cord out to the world of other video games where he hopes to prove himself as a true hero. His first stop is first person shooter Hero's Duty, where he meets cold-blooded and tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun fighting with Cy-Bugs invading her planet. After Ralph helps Calhoun to get rid of the alien invasion he finds himself in the thick of things boiling in racing video game Sugar Rush, where encounters Vanellope von Schweetz facing serious troubles and the only person to help her is Ralph. Initially Disney was planning to name the movie Joe Jump or Reboot Ralph, but at the time when whole conception was assembled, the 3D animated story was decided to rename in Wreck-it-Ralf as the same name arcade game. Wreck-it-Ralf is full of gimmicks, spoofs, allusions and allegories – you will be pleased to meet here the orange colored little ghost from Packman, a Zombie and lots of others funny villains from 30 years old videogames. You should add here the astonishingly matching voices of John C. Reilly, Jane Lynch, Sarah Silverman in perfect combination with soundtracks of Flo Rida (remember 'Good Feeling'?) and all what you get is another Disney's unquestionable success.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 which was previously known as Cloudy 2: Revenge of the Leftovers is a sequel of filmed in 2010 Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. The movie's screenplay is loosely based on original film, not a Barrett's second book Pickles to Pittsburgh, and follows the events which took place just after the end of the first movie. Its plot centers on Flint Lockwood, a young genius who invented a food machine, which nearly destroyed the planet with a disastrous food storm. Nowadays Flint works on The Live Corp. He is idolizing Chester V, who runs the company and tries his best to meet his expectations. Nevertheless, when he gets to know that his monstrous food machine is still active and now producing food-animal hybrids, Flint decides to leave The Live Corp. Now his mission is to destroy dangerous machine, before its creatures destroy the Earth. Saber cucumbers, taco-diles and apple boas are not those who can be easily got rid of, but it's time for Flint to invent something to separate the food from animals.

Bekmambetov has promised a spectacular show with each and every frame can be used as a picture, and he was right. This aesthetics plus Burton's power of visual series have made 9 pretty nice movie. All the scenes are skillfully reconciled and to the visual side of the movie do not have any complaints, but a kind of admiration, only. You will really like the post-apocalyptic picture of dust storms and the sun refracted through the shattered stained glass windows, a night full of sadness and lovely sunrises. The new fantasy world is born ruled by a few rag men. The universe is akin to the world of hobbits, the world of the Matrix or Skynet. Sure there will be crowds of fans who will walk in baggy sweaters, paint numbers on the backs, according to their worldview.
