The picture, produced by Touchstone Pictures, features the music of Elton John and Lady Gaga. The gnomes in love given voices by James McAvoy and Emily Blunt. The story follows the two garden gnomes as they try to find happiness in their love and keep tragedy at bay. Rated G, by the MPAA, it is the first such rating given a Touchstone production since The Nightmare Before Christmas.

"My Neighbors the Yamadas" is a 1999 Japanese animated comedy film directed by Isao Takahata and produced by Studio Ghibli. The film is based on a newspaper comic strip by Hisaichi Ishii, and tells the story of the Yamada family and their humorous daily lives.
