A tremendously successful book Cloud Atlas, which was written by British author David Mitchell in 2004, is laid in the basement of next brothers Wachowsky's movie Cloud Atlas. Of course, no one has expected that Matrix's creators will film something small, but it seems like Cloud Atlas outperformed any possible expectation. The film is so advanced in the meaning of CGI graphics and complicity of the twisted plot that it's undoubtedly destined to become another milestone in cinema industry alongside with The Matrix and Avatar. The movie consists of six stories nailed on each other in some weird way. All of the showcased stories are suddenly interrupting at some point except the last one. The first story begins in 1850 on a frigate sailing across the Pacific Ocean; this story is read by the character of the next story as a diary in 1931 which story is read in letters by Luisa Rey a journalist California, 1975 who writes a manuscript for the novel which is read by Timothy Cavendish, in 21th century UK which story was laid in the center of documentary movie which is watched by Sonmi~451, a genetically-engineered clone in not so distant future who rises a rebellion against totalitarian regime which is lead to "The Fall", an apocalypses which destroys a civilization and forms a tribal societies on Earth. One of the tribesman watches a Sonmi~451's story as holographic movie on his "Orison" device. All the six stories which are nested in the film look like seamlessly connected with each other in the way we did not realize until the movie reaches its turning point, and then we travel back in time from story to story completing them in reverse order and realizing that "Everything is connected".

Star Trek is a devilishly vigorous, beautiful and sometimes even enchanting movie. The action runs so fast that it sometimes seems: there was some fiddling with the space-time continuum. The magnificent scenes like a desperate ram by Kelvin of the more powerful opponent, a trio landing near a penetrating the Planet energy borax, the emerges from a warp jump, blazing with all guns Enterprise will stick in the memory for a long time. Add to this the excellent casting, which, coupled with some rethinking of the character hits the bull's-eye thing.

It has been scary enough to hear of UFO sightings around the globe. Places like China, Germany, France, and even Buenos Aires have all reported evidence that some form of unidentified objects have been seen flying about. In Battle: Los Angeles we find some of these sightings have been documented by trustworthy and qualified people while others are merely random visions offered by "questionable" sources. However now they are beginning to be reported in the U.S. and particularly in the Los Angeles area. This becomes terrifying when the Earth is attacked by forces that are unknown and often unseen. In 2011 the fictional fantasy plays against reality and when LA becomes mankind's last chance to take a stand against alien forces we see a Marine sergeant (played by Aaron Eckhart) leading a platoon and taking on an enemy more powerful and threatening than they have ever been forced to encounter. As large cities fall to the enemy around the world how can a small band of U.S. Marines prevail? Battle: Los Angeles the movie gives UFO sightings an entirely new slant.

"The Wizard of Oz" is a classic American musical fantasy film released in 1939, based on the popular children's book by L. Frank Baum. The movie tells the story of a young girl named Dorothy, who is swept away from her home in Kansas by a tornado and transported to the magical land of Oz. There, she embarks on a journey to find the Wizard of Oz and ask for his help in returning home, accompanied by her loyal companions: a scarecrow, a tin man, and a cowardly lion.

"Mothra vs. Godzilla" is a Japanese monster movie that was released in 1964. The film is part of the Godzilla franchise and follows the story of Godzilla, who is wreaking havoc in Japan, and Mothra, a giant moth-like creature, who comes to defend the country. The plot involves the villains trying to capture and exploit Mothra's egg, and the heroes' efforts to stop them.

Total Recall of 2012 is the good news for those who read the "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale", the book written by the drug addicted writer Philip K. Dick and liked it. Why? Because it's much more close to the original than the same name movie released in 1990 which remake the new Total Recall is supposed to be. That is way it's more correct to call this Recall the new version, not the remake: we will not see any flights to Mars here. But more action packed scenes are guaranteed, thanks to the Len Wiseman who previously directed the Underworld trilogy and Live Free or Die Hard. The story begins in New Asia, the city in fascist far future where two superstates fights to take control over the Earth: Euroamerica and New Shanghai. The average worker Douglas Quaida (Colin Farrell) awakes in his bed and realizes that he is a spy. But which side he serves? He has no idea. The only link to recall his memory is the young prostitute Melina played by Jessica Biel (New Year's Eve, Playing the Field, The Tall Man). But it seems like she is not just "fille de joie". Very soon it becomes clear that she is a major part of rebel union teamed to change the political system in Euroamerica and aimed to destroy the main antagonist Vilos Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston) the President of the corrupted government of Euroamerica.
