competition format. This time four hosts: an American singer and actress Kelly Brianne Clarkson, a nine Grammy Awards winner John "Legend" Roger Stephens, a singer and musician Robin Charles Thicke and an American country music artist Jennifer Nettles will compete in a quite unusual way. Their aim is to outrun the rivals by winning a song contest of duets. Each duet will consist of host itself and a partner they have to find. And all the intriguing things are starting here: Clarkson, Thicke, Legend and Nettles will travel USA to find the talents on which they would be totally dependent during the series run. As Clarkson said in the first interview as the host of Duets: "The simple fact that I get to go out and find two people I believe in, sing with them every week and help them accomplish their dream is an amazing thing I can't wait to be a part of". Well, we have to hope that the sharp-cut and unordinary idea of Duets will be implemented in the best way with all the fans of American Idol getting the new exciting show to watch instead. Even more, now you have a strong reason to sing at public places hoping John Legend is somewhere nearby to hear and pick you. Because the prize is really great: a contract with Hollywood Records for a winning duo that certainly worth most hardest efforts.
What happens if you hybridize The Amazing Race and Top Chef? There are two possible answers: "nothing good" and "Around The World in 80 Plates". And you know, both of them are true. But, please, don't get us wrong. It's not just another Bravo's disastrous TV show; it's just a cooking reality show, which is not about the cooking. How is it possible? With ease, here we have to lift the curtain off the series' plot. First of all, you have to imagine three clueless chefs walking down the streets of London, doing the classic "pub crawl" and pretending the "drunk Americans". It's pathetic scene, you know. But who are those unfortunate souls? Meet Keven Lee, or how he calls himself Cheven (mix of Chef and Kevin). He represents one of the endangered species of Hollywood private chefs. The next one is Chazz, his real name Chaz Brown from Voorhees, New Jersey, who is repeatedly semi-shocking us with his British accent, that's why it would be better if he kept silence all the show long. Our list would not be completed if we haven't mentioned the Tex-Mex half-naked chief Sai Pituk from Texas, who surprisingly said the she cooks Asian cuisine only. There are another nine contestants participating, that makes total twelve. The television show is divided into two parts. In the first part all of the participants are performing something like scavenger hunt in the uncommon environment of foreign culinary culture (you have to ideate the picture of dozen Americans wander the rows of Borough market; it's must be funny, isn't it?). In the second part of each episode the contestants have to cook (finally!) the local dishes which their tasted in the first part, and as a bisque, the winning team (those who won the "scavenger hunt") gets one secret ingredient, which will be in great help in the "cooking" part. That is most amusing part of the "Around The World in 80 Plates" because judges are the locals, and you should see their faces when they taste black pudding hash cooked by Americans.
It seems like having on board one the most talented actress of contemporaneity, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, secures Veep feature in HBO prime-time. And this is not only the argument in a favor of cloudless long-time existence of this television series. It's clearly behind all the doubts for those who are familiar with Armando Iannucci's oeuvre "“ Veep is the first US series created by this famous European director. Therefore, let's begin with the plot. The main protagonist Selina Meyer portrayed by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, takes the position of Vice-President of United States (where the show's name Veep, strictly speaking, derives from). Her dream career turns out to be more complicated thing than she ever expected. Everything she was warned about come to reality: more power "“ more troubles. Let's start with Reid Scott - you may know him as Peter from The Best Friends Forever TV show as well as William Leeds from Missing William; another projects where Reid Scott was involved, includes: Hot in Cleveland, The Big C and My Boys. So, if you are tired and bored by numerous CSI /NCIS you should try this new one "“ NYC 22. Despite all the cons (we should count in an outdated flat and glossy picture that still is CBS's "signature" bobble) of another one police investigation drama, NYC 22 features some pros as well. Let's start with Robert De Niro as an executive producer, who brought in lots of diverse and twisted scenario turns and some decent cast: you'll unlikely see elsewhere on conservative CBS a romance escalating between a handsome black ex-basketball professional player Jayson "Jackpot" Toney portrayed by Harold House Moore (whose filmography includes Single Ladies, Necessary Roughness, Lie to Me and House of Payne) and Jennifer, a cute blonde white rookie nicknamed "White Horse", played by gorgeous Leelee Sobieski "“ you may know her as Lolita from The Elder Son or Chloe in Night Train and the most attentive would probably notice her in Public Enemy with Johnny Depp.
Finally Kathy Griffin got her own talk show at Bravo. Why? Because she has been banned from most TV shows for her salty language and poking fun using over-the-top humor at celebs and other rich and famous people. So if you are looking for TV show to laugh at topics like spontaneous violence, drunken celebs and drug addicted stars, KATHY is the right choice for you. For all the fans of Kathy Griffin's "signature" jokes and videos where Kathy appearing in bikini (marketers are saying hello to significant share of male audience), we have to say: she acts very funny and natural, except the moments when she tries to interact with her panel (it's surprisingly boring). It seems like never ending sex jokes and beeping language becomes a kind of "trademark" of Kathy's style of performance, but nevertheless she is really hard working to entertain you. And, from that point of view, she is super successful: as the comedienne she raises the reality talk shows to a new level of reality.

Want to talk about a sex? You couldn't find a better interlocutor than a Dan Savage. So, everybody knows the fact that sex takes first place in teenagers' minds and almost every college student have sex and a lot of. Besides this fact, the issue of sexual relationships is a much tabooed topic and it takes a proper host to run a reality television series about this complicated subject. And it seems like MTV made a perfect choice, a frank, funny and tolerate Dan Savage keeps things easy in Savage U in the way they really should be. Of course, we need to say, Dan cleverly avoiding twisted questions like pregnancy termination and bindingness of monogamy as a fundamental piece in architecture of family building. Nevertheless you can hear Dan asking lots of tricky questions and getting some vulgar answers, but he manages keep things both natural and decent almost every time. As for "how it rated" question it' necessary to say that Savage U isn't that kind of TV series teenager should watch alone. It would be more appropriate for parents watching to be prepared for some "hard" questions in order to answer then in better way. In any case this show will be definitely in help for teenagers to avoid unwanted pregnancy and keep STD checks steady negative.
