The Curse of Oak Island is a reality television show that airs on the History Channel. The show follows brothers Rick and Marty Lagina as they try to uncover the secrets of Oak Island, a small island off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada. The island has a long history of treasure hunting, dating back to the late 1700s, when legends of buried pirate treasure began to circulate. Despite many attempts over the years, no one has been able to locate any significant treasure on the island.

Christiana Bennett, is the probably oldest main character in Breaking Pointe, she is 32 and now she is at the top of her ballet career, but strong competition not allowing her to bask in the rays of glory. She is very aware of young and hungry ballerinas starving for her place. Beckanne Sisk is right that kind of young and hungry ballerina, she is extremely talented, and in her 19 she's made the brilliant dance career, most of twentysomething dancers only have to dream of. Beckanne has a friend Katie Martin, less talented by awesome girl who admires Beckanne, though in some weird way. Another character is Ronald Tilton, with whom Katie is dating. He is a dancer too, and it's hard to say what Katie and Ronald hold in the first place: ballet or relationships. Another dancing couple is Rex Tilton and Allison DeBona. It seems like Rex is totally in love with Allison, but it's clear that Allison prefers her ballet career instead of their relationships. Such a stratagem of relationships dramatically showcased in Breaking Pointe makes these TV show somewhat like The Hills, but more concerned about real problems of really talented, not only pretty, people.

Audrina Cathleen Patridge has become a reality TV show star, highlighting an exciting career that began when she moved to Los Angeles and went to work as a receptionist for Quixote Studios back in 2005. Her swift rise to fame was helped along the way by roles in movies like Sorority Row and Into the Blue: The Reef. She became a hit on the MTV television program The Hills and appeared in more episodes of that reality show than anyone else. She is yet another former contestant on "Dancing With The Stars" and scored high marks until elimination after the sixth week.
