In the pilot episode we see a landscaper and electrician from Lake Jackson, Texas with the name of David Hasselhoff trade his life with THE David Hasselhoff, formerly of Baywatch and Knight Rider. Will the Hass electrocute himself? And is Mr. Hasselhoff from Texas better looking? Those who share names with celebrities seldom have anything else in common other than that name thing and it could be humorous observing how difficult it may be for the pampered set to actually work at real jobs.

The first one calls himself as "a big ball of horny energy" and the second one, his ex-girlfriend is always jealous about his penis. As we moving further, we see Morgan a Polish restaurant manager. She hates everyone in the mile radius and describes the rest of the staff as ""¦they are all very stupid." She regularly yells at Eyal, her bartender an Israeli bisexual, who seems to be happy with this "relationships." His sobriquet Gayal, was given to him by their boss, Nathan, who represents the top of this Sodom and Gomorrah. His most remarkable singularity lies in the spraying the fountains of champagne over the guests and staff.

Trivia games have long been popular and fairly easy to answer for many of us. Enter the NBC game show variety of trivia titled Who's Still Standing? Now the idea of this fun filled new show is that losing answers will result in that contestant falling from the audience sight by a hole in the floor opening up and seemingly swallowing up that poor loser. Imagine how much fun that is! And where do the go? Evidently we, the home viewing audience, will never know exactly what happens once the incorrect answer results in that poor schmuck dropping from sight. Do they drop down to another level and join an ever increasing population of losers? Do they fall into some deep labyrinth and float away into oblivion? Who knows"¦. and who cares? They simply lost. Now we watch in anticipation to see who will fail and fall next. This game show concept could actually work out, at least until we viewers wish that we ourselves could drop out of the competition so quickly because we've become addicted to the trivia questions while we just keep on answering one after another. Try it! It is absolutely addictive!

Long before the advent of The Glass House on TV screens CBS has warned ABC not to air this reality show, which was too similar to Big Brother, in their point of view. Notwithstanding this fact, ABC has released The Glass House on primetime and CBS filed the long-promised lawsuit against them. Fortunately, while the monsters of big TV are fighting, we have a chance to compare these TV shows and make our own mind on whether they are similar or not. At the first glance they are: same cameras-wired houses, same teams of contestants performing very stupid and not so much tasks, sometimes squabbling, wrangling bullying and sparring with each other to the audience sweetest delight. However, when you take a closer look on this so-called Big Brother rip-off you will probably notice some differences. First of all, all the contestants going to be eliminated from the show go to Limbo, where they wait for America's decision whether they will stay or abandon the game. The second difference is more significant and literally determinative: almost all the things contestants do in the show is determines by voting of the audience. To underline this, all means all: audience decides what the participants have to eat and wear today, what they have to do and how they should act to win the viewers' gratitude. The third difference is, there are no players deciding whether to eliminate somebody or no, everything depends of audience decision. It's a weird thing but the absence of need to eliminate your "fiends" does not have any positive impact on contestants' virtues. We see the same "douchbaggery" and painful "obnoxiousty" of the people are blooming, and maybe this is the most principal similarity between The Glass House and Big Brother. Evidently the CBS lawyers could use this fact to file their suit.
