Saturday Night Live (or SNL) is an evening of music-comedy series on the NBC channel. SNL show is one of the most popular and long-playing in the history of U.S. television. The premiere of the SNL show is dating back in 1975 when the program was conceived by Dick Ebersol and Lorna Maykolsom. The first music director of the orchestra program was the composer Howard Shore. The format of the SNL consists of a humorous musical reprises, most of them played live by comedy actors - members of the permanent cast, with the participation of a guest host (popular celebrities) and some musical guest or quests. Typically, the series begins with a reprise in the last seconds of which one of the actors out of the way, proclaiming "Live from New York, it's - Saturday Night!" followed by a brand video and then played introductory monologue-patter with a guest presenter. Among the participants were well-known actors such as Martin Short, Bill Murray, James Belushi, Jim Carrey, Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Murphy, Hugh Laurie, Taylor Lautner, Mike Myers and others. Derrillom Hammond (Bill Clinton), Will Ferrell (George Bush, Jr.) and Fred Armisenom (Barack Obama). During the election campaign in 2008 parody of Tina Fey spoofed the candidate for vice-president Sarah Palin, with whom Fey has a striking resemblance. Considered by many this was one of the factors affecting the elections' outcome.

Her husband, Russell, was a venture capitalist and they were both heavily involved in philanthropy. Other returning members include Lisa Vanderpump, married to Ken Todd for the past 29 years and is now turned 50 years old (making her oldest housewife on the program). Owners of 26 restaurants, Lisa and Ken have both appeared on other TV programs such as Baywatch Nights and Silk Stalkings. Born and raised in Albuquerque Adrienne Maloof-Nassif was the daughter of a Coors distributor and later married cosmetic surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif, now residing in Beverly Hills, California. Kim Richards and her sister Kyle Richards are aunts of Paris and Nicky Hilton through their sister Kathy and have had some experience in acting. They are both married and residing in Beverly Hills.

The show features a group of single individuals who are brought together in a luxury villa for a chance to find love and win a cash prize. The contestants must pair up with someone of the opposite sex and the couple who receives the fewest votes from the public are at risk of being eliminated.

With a theme similar to the enormously popular Survivor, Fear Factor makes reality stars out of everyday people who can stand the test of some pretty dangerous stunts and dares when they compete against one another for a monetary reward. The prize of $50,000 is a big incentive and one that makes otherwise sensible folks take risks most of us are barely able to watch! Now there are four teams, each consisting of two people to a team who have been involved in some previous relationship with each other. Not being able to complete a stunt spells elimination and as host Joe Rogan says in a disclaimer "The stunts were supervised and designed by professionals! They're extremely dangerous & shouldn't be attempted by anyone at any time or anywhere!"

The Curse of Oak Island is a reality television show that airs on the History Channel. The show follows brothers Rick and Marty Lagina as they try to uncover the secrets of Oak Island, a small island off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada. The island has a long history of treasure hunting, dating back to the late 1700s, when legends of buried pirate treasure began to circulate. Despite many attempts over the years, no one has been able to locate any significant treasure on the island.
