When a British couple find success with Lyman's Boys, a sitcom they have written for the BBC, they are encouraged to take it to Hollywood in the US. When they remake the show to suit an American audience they run into problems leading them to hire Matt LeBlanc as a cast member. But LeBlanc ends up damaging the show and the Lincoln's reputation as well. With their marriage on the line Beverly and Sean Lincoln need to make some change not only in their scripts but in their lives as well. Matt LeBlanc is brought in to replace the lead and he brings along a laundry list of wants few actors would dare request. Further problems are seen when Merc Lapidus (Hollywood network big shot) decides to make some changes to the hit show Episodes. Conflicts and cultural differences are displayed in a humorous way and even though the Lincolns are worried that their success will end in the US they struggle to keep creative control. Wonderful acting and a delightful chemistry between each make this show one to look for every week.

"Flight of the Conchords" is a television series that aired on HBO from 2007 to 2009. The show follows the lives of two New Zealand musicians, Jemaine and Bret, as they try to make it in the music industry in New York City. The show combines elements of comedy and music, as Jemaine and Bret frequently break into song during the episodes.

When Annie Watson (played by Jaime Pressly from My Name Is Earl) notices her daughter Sophie is mocking her and constantly trying to embarrass her own mother, she knows it may be her own fault because she always allowed her daughter to do pretty much whatever she chose. Nikki Miller (played by Katie Finneral from Sex In The City) grew up being fat and unpopular now sees her daughter as the type who used to tease her back in high school. The fathers aren't much help with daughters who bully so it's up to the moms to teach these manipulative young women how to "play nice" and grow up as decent people.

The hosts bring up subjects not merely to "expose the truth" but show some to be misleading, overemphasized, or even unnecessary interruptions in life.
