Ryan Murphy's genius creation revolves around the glee club at William McKinley in Lima, Ohio"”in other words, the archetypal anytown USA. The eternal struggle between McKinley's dorks and its perennially popular football players and cheerleaders drives the show's plots; the stories, however, get permanent turbo-charge from the built-in irony that the dorks, nerds, and geeks sing and dance better than your average six-pack of rock stars. Jane Lynch plays Sue Sylvester, rough-tough and quick-tongued cheerleading coach whose life's mission is to destroy Mr. Schuester, glee club alum and now coach. Matthew Morrison stars as "Mr. Shue," brilliantly supported and often up-staged by a perfectly chosen ensemble cast: Lea Michelle stars as Rachael, powerhouse soprano with pretentions to prima dona; and Diana Agron portrays Quinn, the head cheerleader who doubles as the perfect foil to Rachel. Singles and albums from "Glee's" most popular episodes have dominated the Billboard charts, shattering popularity and longevity records with each new release. The music, unfortunately, sometimes drowns out the brilliant dialogue. Critics feel hard pressed to name even one current show that rivals the quality of the writing on "Glee."

A New Zealand television series titled Outrageous Fortune is the origin for this fun and fast moving American TV comedy drama. Cheryl West has four children, a set of twins named Cal and Logan plus two younger daughters Heather and Hope. They have each participated in some "shady behavior" until Wolf land in prison for a five year sentence. Mom, Cheryl, decides they must all become honest citizens in spite of good old dad's interference from inside jail. What will that do to their image? Virginia Madsen (as Cheryl West) has been in Sideways & The Astronaut Farmer is sister to actor Michael Madsen. David James Elliott starred in Jag for 10 years before joining CSI: NY in 2010 and in between he played Wolfgang "Wolf" West. The children were played by Patrick Flueger (playing both twin boys), Leven Rambin as Heather West, and Vanessa Marano as Hope West.

American Housewife is a television show that premiered on ABC in 2016. The show is about a woman named Katie Otto, who lives with her husband and three children in a wealthy suburb of Westport, Connecticut. The show revolves around Katie's attempts to fit in with the other wealthy and seemingly perfect moms in her community, while also trying to maintain her own sense of individuality and identity.

With a controversial plot and an exceptionally talented cast of young actors, "SKINS" is a top quality television program to watch and be entertained by. Residing in Bristol in South West England we observe a group of teenagers as they explore modern issues including mental illness, dysfunctional family life, death, drugs, sexual identity crisis, and eating disorders. The amateur actors along with some youthful writers pull together a thoroughly enjoyable program that is often hard hitting and relevant to everyday life. Season one finds Nicholas Hoult (Tony Stonem) to be a popular, intelligent boy. An attractive young man, he finds it easy to manipulate those around him into doing what he wishes and this makes him entertaining just to see what he can get away with next. He has a best friend Mike Bailey (Sid Jenkins), who is entirely opposite him personality wise. Tony also has a girl friend that gets upset with him and his self centered ways but can't seem to stay angry with him. Another young girl has an eating disorder she hides and parents with a new baby that seems to take over her parent's attention completely. Thoroughly entertaining story and music make SKINS a winner.

"Sex and the City" is an American television show that aired on HBO from 1998 to 2004. The series is based on the book of the same name by Candace Bushnell and follows the lives of four women living in New York City. The show explores their romantic and sexual escapades, careers, and friendships.

Georgia Chamberlain knows she can act. In fact she is the most confident person around and considered to be one of those "larger than life" kinda people. Georgia Chamberlain is ably played by Raven-Symone (That's so Raven, Sunny With a Chance) who was actually born in Georgia. She has moved to New York to pursue her dreams which include becoming an actress. Her best friend Jo Pye is played by Majandra Delfino (Men of a Certain Age, Life As We Know It), who is more the science "geek" type. The two women are trying to make it in the "big city" and we've seen that story idea before but this time around the women seem tougher and even more determined to make it! Georgia's Aunt Honey (Loretta Devine from Grey's Anatomy, For Colored Girls) is somewhat of a nymphomaniac and loves to brag about her exploits to the young women and also doles out advice while listening to their problems. This is actually light hearted fun television in a family format.
