Alaska Daily was a daily newspaper published in Anchorage, Alaska, USA. It was first published in 1946 as the Anchorage Daily News, and it served as a major source of news and information for Alaskans until its merger with the Alaska Dispatch in 2014.

Fantasy Island is a television series that premiered in 2021. It is a reboot of the 1977 series of the same name. The show follows the adventures of Elena Roarke, who runs a luxurious resort on a remote island. The island has a special power to make people's dreams come true, but with unexpected consequences.

It's one thing to be a member of a large traditional "cop" family but when one joins up with the Internal Affairs division of their Chicago Police Department things can become a bit unstable. Rachael Carpani (seen on TV's The Glades & True Blue) is Abby Kowalski, who moved over to IAD when a job offer to move upward in the department came about. She has designs on eventually becoming a detective. Her father is Don Kowalski (Treat Williams from 127 Hours, A Little Bit of Heaven) a sergeant with CPD who absolutely hates the idea of his little girl joining the IAD. Kathy Baker (Last Chance Harvey, Boston Public) is Sheila Kowalski, wife of Don and mother to Abby, Richie, Steve, and Donnie Kowalski. Abby Kowalski and her family squabble over the fact she has joined the IAD, seeing her as a spy and turncoat. This makes family gatherings difficult and the usual football games become a battlefield in their yard. But Abby is a dedicated police officer and still chooses to solve crimes whenever possible. This show is fast paced and has some good writing to keep it moving each week.

Longmire storyline is loosely based on Craig Johnson's novels about old fashioned Sheriff of Absroka, Wyoming County. He widowed only a year ago and still hides his soul's pain underneath the unassuming grin and impassive face. He wears a true to type cowboy hat, leather boots and holstered gun. All these attributes makes him looking similar to Raylan Gyvens (Justified). But Longmire personality features quite different traits. But in opposite of brave, but somewhat reckless Raylan, he is much wiser, seasoned and experienced. He is accompanied by Victoria "Vic" Moretti, an ex-cop from Philadelphia Homicide Department, played by Katee Sackhoff. You may know her by roles in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Battlestar Galactica and Sexy Evil Genius (as Nikki Franklyn). The main intrigue about her is how the proficient Philly policewoman have stuck in the middle of the Wyoming boondocks. The next intrigue unfolds in the pilot episode, a murder which traced back to "The Res", an Indian reservation where white men's legislation have nothing to do with Indian traditions and laws. The third intrigue revolves around the person of Deputy Branch Connally who appears to represent the "shady" forces of Longmire's team.

"Deadwood" is a critically acclaimed American Western television series that aired on HBO from 2004 to 2006. These quite a serious, as per common sense things, are presented in very humorous light, making us to believe the everything will be OK with these nice Louisianan folks.
